A Series re-themed for Norse setting?

Post by Davout »

Hello,

I recently got 1-9 of the A series of modules. I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts about the ease of re-theme them to be placed in a Norse setting?

Thanks.

Yep! The modules are written in a way that, one could place them in any ecological environment or published campaign world. I have been using a Norse setting for almost 15 years. It works perfectly . . because the A series modules are some of the best ever written!

Welcome to the forums . . . and

enjoy the game!

Thanks. Did you end up swapping out any of the monsters?

Been doing some skimming of the modules. Maybe I'm too picky but the region seems too populated for a stereotypical norse setting. Maybe I can shrink the main ones and remove others. Which settlements are important in regards to the story within the modules? I would presume Botkinburg. Any others? Lundensheim?

Thanks.
