I was finally able to find someone willing to sell Starstone and Embertrees. I have not yet received them, but I will. And then I will read them.

Digging back into the World of Greyhawk folio. Trying to get some ideas to continue the campaign with my son.

Yggsburg is great! Ran a game through there some years back and got my players through the Upper Works before Gygax died and the IP dried up. I'm still bummed the Trolls were never able to finish all the town neighborhood Free Town of Yggsburgh supplements. Loved those. With those and just the Upper Works and all the adventures in the hardback campaign book, you had enough for a very long campaign.

Mongoose Traveler v1 & v2

Before that Star Wars d6 REUP, and Modiphius Star Trek

Yes a lot of Sci Fi. It is what I may be running next after we finish Masque of Red Death Amazing Adventures (unless Old School Gamer & Mrs OSG step in and run something else)

It's been years since I played or ran any Sci Fi.

AD&D PHB reprint and AD&D Dungeoneer Survival Guide.

Also been looking at various mega-dungeons. Picked up Goodman Games Castle Whiterock (in pdf) as that was one of the few I haven’t gotten yet.

I'm reading Leverage with an eye towards running a Star Trek spy campaign. I'm going to use the 2d20 Star Trek rules, but there are some very interesting philosophies about gaming in that Leverage book.

I'm about a thrird of the way through Time of the Dragon (DragonLance Taladas setting). I've never done more than just glance at it. It has some interesting takes.

I haven't read anything in quite a while, but picked up the AD&D 2nd Edition ~ Charlemagne's Paladins. Even if I'll never run a real world history game, it's been fun reading so far.

Right now it's The Journey to Aufstrag (A6-12) Boxed Set. I'll follow up with A13-17, then dive into my efforts to flesh out that massive citadel. Semester ends in 3 weeks so I can see the light, or, in this case, the dark.

Re-reading the Zweihander rules and becoming more and more impressed with them every time I do; I love how they handle magic and I love how savage it makes combat.

Really want to get Monsters! Monsters! 2nd edition but I don't know if it'd be worth investing in yet another system just to play monsters (though it's a supremely tempting idea I don't see scratched by too many systems).

Been gorging on near every article or analysis of old-school gaming and OSR content I can find and seeing what of everything I can apply to my own gaming.

Dipping in and out of After Winter Dark as well as Exalted books.

Also running a Baker Street: Roleplaying in the World of Sherlock Homes game as a Play By Forum so reading some of that too.

And as I'm making The Warlock Returns magazines that means the occasional bit of reading of AFF (Advanced Fighting Fantasy) books.

Just re-read Star Trek Tactical Combat Simulator for a game run yesterday on Roll20. Still a fun game, surprisingly hard to blow a ship up, pretty easy to knock them out of the fight. OK, maybe easy isn't the term I'm looking for. It's been nearly 30 years since I played, but the game holds up well. Reading Stargrave at the moment, the sci-fi version of Frostgrave skirmish game.

Just ordered the first volumes of The Enemy Within campaign for Warhammer 4th edition. I haven't played Warhammer since 2nd edition about 12 years ago, but I've always heard how great this campaign is, so I just decided to grab it. May well be able to use some of the material even if we never play it.

Stargrave and Five Parsecs from Home. I haven't roleplayed in months but some friends are getting together for miniatures games every other week, so that has caught my interest lately

Treasures of the Mummy Queen, limited edition T&T solo module.

It is quite funny that there's a page-long diatribe from Ken St. Andre (not the author but creator of T&T) on mapping the dungeon (since its a solo, its not usually needed anyway but in case one wants to do it for group play) and how impossible it is and one should essentially just not try, or wing it, or use "tricks" that force loops. And then, immediately on the next page is a map.

I'm deep diving back into chess (again!). This time I hired a coach to try to see faster improvement and to hold me accountable to make progress. I can't how many times I have started reading a chess book and never picked the book up a second time. I've probably read the first 5-10 pages of a hundred chess books. My new coach has me reading Irving Chernev's "Logical Chess Move by Move" which is a beginners' book that I never would have read on my own given my experience level. But if my coach says I've got fundamental stuff I need to improve, then I'd be an idiot to say I'm too good to read the book they want me to read. Especially since I'm paying for her advice.

Just got The Town of Kalas for C&C. Liking it so far. I was looking for a town setting to drop into my campaign for a scenario down the road and this looks to fit the bill.
