module with pre-rolled characters or a list of characters & stats ?

I'm looking over the players handbook. I was wondering if one of the modules, or there was a list somewhere, of pre-made/rolled characters I could look at.

I'm sure I'll make mistakes, but I wanted to keep them down to a soft roar.

Is this to just spot check to see if you're in the right ballpark with something, or do you need some pre-gens for a game?

One of the modules published later on may have pre-rolled characters, but the early ones didn't as space was at a premium. 24 pages max!

Unaware of any modules that have such by TLG. Fiff already mentioned the Almanac.

I made characters years ago for 1e ad&d, and later on found out I had made several mistakes. No internet back then...

Mostly to compare with ones already done. I try for a character and I get similar results, I'll know I'm close to doing it correctly.

The NPC Almanac vol 1 doesn't have stats, just general info. I'll get some of the rest on payday.

Seeing as C&C and AD&D are oft touted as hand-in-hand, with conversion being relatively easy and ad hoc, there are some older resources one might find very useful such as AD&D 1st editions Rogues Gallery.

I personally find material for the Bards' Games' The Arcanum to work exceptionally well, too. There's a new KIckstarter to reprint the latest new edition, once it changed its name to Talislanta.

I downloaded some of those.

I know how to roll the 3d6... its making sure I get the characters correct for C&C that is where I get lost. I think I understand Primary and Secondary stats.

I saw mention of Constitution bonus, but the only add I can find is under Attribute Modifiers on page 16 of the players' handbook.

Looks like if I follow along using the C&C character sheet, I can get a better feel for it.

There are a couple of things that have pregens included. The adventure "beneath a green sky" comes with some 3rd and 4th level characters ( great introductory adventure as well). Also "Shadows of Halfling Hall" comes with a useable NPC cleric. And if you download the quick start rules from Trolls website, it also has some basic level 1 pregens ( Fighter, Cleric, Rogue, Wizard).

Walking through character creation, by using the character sheet, I understand more about it. I'm doing things in sequence on the sheet.

Sumatra pdf reader doesn't make it fillable; however, opening it in MS Edge, I can edit the pdf.

After I do two or three of these characters, where can I post them for a critique ? I can host the png files on imgur and put the link on these forums.
