Why can't I buy this product as a PDF? Its a dollar. I could download it now and enjoy now. Dwarven Glory Looking Stones was a dollar and is downloadable so again, why not?

From my understanding... it's still in the works. The $1.00 hardcopies were done up for a con I think but there was some tweaking still needed to be done. It might be fair to think of it as a beta version of the rules...

Don't get me wrong, I would love to get it in PDF too ... and I'm kicking myself for not ordering it when I last placed an order with the Trolls (I forgot about it).

Hopefully, this will be more readily available soon.

Don't forget the first 100 copies are signed and numbered by Davis and I believe they still have some available.

I've got copy #1!!!

This is available now? Doh! I could have ordered it with my order
Next time then... Or a PDF. Yeah, I'm in the PDF boat (although ordering a hardcopy would be cool too... next time, next time)

Well, I finally remembered to add to one of my orders!

YAY !!

I was all excited and was hoping to read some threads in the Cleaver the Pit section. Sadly... there weren't many.

More people need to be exposed... and then, my friends, you die.

Hi M.

Don't know if you saw some CtP threads in Open Discussion some months back. Third Eye created a nice PDF of the arena/pit that you can download and print.

Thanks Rhu.

I did indeed see them... grabbed them back then in anticipation of me getting the rules.

Cleaver the Pit: newbie with questions

Post by the_mystic_fool »

Hi all,

I just received Cleaver the Pit for Xmas. I'm new here and had a few questions about Cleaver.

1. Is the pit file by third eye available somewhere else? I tried following the links for ver 1 and 1.5 and the files are no longer available.

2. My copy is not signed and numbered. Have the original 100 been sold out? Is mine a 'second printing'?

3. Are there plans for an expanded version, miniatures, or supplements for the current version?

4. After a quick read through, I noticed references to 'tactical cards' and 'offensive combat cards', but I didn't receive any cards, nor is there a card list for creating my own. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks!

Paul, the Mystic Fool

Howdy and welcome Paul.

Third Eye may have moved the file to a different host. You might want to send him a PM. I'd send you the file but it's over 100mb.

As for the booklet, I'll assume they've sold out. I have gotten the impression that further development is in the works.

I don't have cards either and maybe that's the future development of the game.

Enjoy!
