Barbarian Intimidation

I really like the new Barbarian, but I have a couple questions about the intimidation ability:

1. Is there a limit to how many times this ability can be used? For instance, if a 1st level barbarian is fighting 4 Kobolds, and he intimidates 1, after he slays it, can he then intimidate another?

2. Does the radius of effect ever increase? It seems like at higher levels, there;s no way to fit all the enemies he could intimidate at once in a 15 foot radius!

1) Not that I can tell. He can keep using it over and over and over as long as the situation warrants it.

2) It needs something to limit it... so, no.

Of course, a Castle Keeper can freely modify, but this is how I would run it.

Is there a duration to the intimidation? How long does the effect last?

I'd say: until the barbie stops being intimidating or the enemy loses line of sight.

So, one thing that is not clear to me is whether the Barbarian can Intimidate and do other things. I have been ruling that he can. So, if the Barbarian succeeds at his Intimidate check, he can wade into combat as well.
