C&C ability levels vs Pathfinder/3.x ability levels

Post by vivsavage »

It would seem that C&C uses the classic upper limit of 25 with regard to ability scores (based on the girdle of giant strength, anyways). If so, does anyone have any suggestions for equating ability scores in Pathfinder/3.x to C&C? In other words, if a monster in PF has a strength of 28, what would it be in C&C?

Since monsters do not get Attribute scores; pointless.

Thanks for the great advice.

I'm giving them attribute scores.

Attributes in C&C go up to 30 (as seen in Of Gods & Monsters) and the upcoming Castles Keeper's Guide).

You may want to use the M&T book to figure out Giant's strength. Look to the Belt of Giant Strength to give you an idea what each giant's strength could theoretically be. Use that magic item of a guideline.

The bonus goes up 1 point for every two attribute points. At least for STR.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Until attribute 28 or 29 where it then becomes 1 for 1.

I'd just look at the Pathfinder attribute bonus and use what ever C&C attribute has the same bonus.

According to the Codex Persona (CKG exert), attributes look like this beyond the PHB:

20-21 +4

22-23 +5

24-25 +6

26-27 +7

28 +8

29 +9

30 +10
