Gary Gygaxs Cosmos Builder & Mortality of Green Now Available (TLG PR)

LITTLE ROCK, AR October 23, 2006 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE - Troll Lord Games announced two new titles available this week: Gary Gygaxs Cosmos Builder and the Castles & Crusades adventure module Mortality of Green. Both products are available for immediate shipping.

Gary Gygaxs Cosmos Builder provides fantasy cosmologists the tools to create a unique depiction of the realms above and below (and everything in between) and how to incorporate them into any fantasy or science fiction setting. We are particularly pleased with this, the seventh volume in the Gygaxian Fantasy World series, remarked Stephen Chenault of TLG. Not only is Cosmos Builder an excellent addition to the line, but it sports the new layout and look the GFW books will assume in coming months as we revise reprint them.

Gary Gygaxs Cosmos Builder is 128 pages longs and has an MSRP of $21.9.

This is the third printing of The Mortality of Green. Originally published for TLGs own home rules Sword & Sorcery, A Role Playing Game, it was released in 2002 as a d20 adventure. It has been completely revised, and updated for the Castles & Crusades line. This third printing of the classic TLG forest adventure of hunter and hunted has an additional 8000 words of content with new encounter areas and more information on the folks of Ends Meet, Greenbriar and the surrounding areas. Designed for 4-8 characters of levels 3-5.

For more books created by Gary Gygax and produced by Troll Lord Games check out the Troll Lord Games Website at www.trolllord.com. And be sure to check out the Lejendary Adventure RPG, Lejendary Adventure Essentials, Gary Gygaxs World Builder and Gary Gygaxs Extraordinary Book of Names.

Just completely guessing here, but I would imagine the precursor the the C&C game? Or the Trolls version of d20 lite, perhaps?

S&S was the "system" in the pre D20 TLG modules...similar to Judges Guild's Universal system. Basically a play on terminology in order to publish AD&D modules.
If TLG doesn't mind, I'll post the system here somewhere for all to see. I just bought the pre-D20 Afterwinter Dark and Fantastic Adventure from noble knight and scanned 'em into the computer so it wouldn't be a big problem (if permission was granted).

Sieg's got it mostly right. I hear there's a tad more to it, but won't divulge in rumormongering. If you wanna know, ask Steve, Davis, Mac, or Todd. I just hear things I shouldn't.

Since Steve is up to his eyeballs today in various and sundry, he's asked me to post his request to hold off since said rules will be put forth in a future publication.
S&S was the progenitor of the fundamental C&C rules base, so the core system is contained within.

Oooh, the S&S rules mixed with the "serleran concept" = C&C! YAY! I bet I can name that "future publication" in three letters.
