Vampires Missing Regeneration?

Post by Mark Hall »

So, I noticed that vampire spawn specifically have regeneration 1. Are vampires supposed to regeneration?
I don't have to have everything perfect... just good enough that the seams don't show on the monkey suit. -Me
I like that. Not going to use it because I like mine better, but I do like that idea. -Treebore, summing up most home designers' philosophy

Yes, I believe it is supposed to be regeneration 3.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
Sounds obvious to me! -Gm Michael

No.

And "spawn" are not supposed to have regeneration either.

Vampires heal by sucking blood. Also, they're supposed to not take damage from non-magical weapons, so regeneration would be overkill. And... in essence, they sort of have it anyway, with the gaseous form thing. The next night they're back to full HP.

At least, that's my way of handling them. Not every monster needs to wipe the floor with the PCs.
