The Secret of Smuggler's Cove C&C version had this while, but had not read it though. Kinda like a higher level Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh.

Also been looking at Against the Giants.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

If you actually own the book, Rhu, then consider yourself lucky... I know a lot of folks who want one of those, myself included.

I am re-reading the Planescape box set, to see if I would want to do a conversion or throw it all out and do my own version. So far, I am leaning toward wanting to scrap it. Not that it is bad, but it does not fit my vision or game style.

Mutants & Masterminds: Crooks.

This was a hardcover for the 1st edition that was basically a Fiend Folio or monster manual for it. I'm looking for a few villains to toss into a game if the team starts to handle it too easily. I'm going to be running Crisis On Christmas (free pdf adventure from Green Ronin) on the 19th and after that we are going to have "Gamers'-Giving". Basically we're going to eat a ham and give out presents. Then maybe settle down to a game of Killer Bunnies or Car Wars. (depending on the age range and number of kids)

There is a conversion pdf for 1st/2nd edition M&M at Green Ronin's channel.

C&C Players Handbook. I guess you've heard this ad nauseum, but the SIEGE system in all its simplicity looks brilliant. I can't wait to see how it works in actual play.

The original Planescape campaign set. I'm thinking of porting the setting to C&C.

Riddle Rooms #3:Past, Present, and Future

Cloud Kingdom Games

I love this series. They make these puzzle rooms or riddle-deactivating traps that you'd find in some modules. Except these ones you can drop anywhere. This particular volume has riddle rooms for a variety of settings (as the title indicates). One room even time morphs into all three settings while the players solve it. Each room comes with handy dandy Hand-outs from the back to help the players picture the puzzle they are up against.

Reading Man, Myth and Magic boxed set. I got this way back in around 1982-83 brand new. The last time I read through it was when I first got it. It's interesting... though not a great system. It's based on legends from around 4000BC to 1000AD and it mixes a lot of elements together from that large time-span. I never got to play it because my gaming group wasn't interested in swaying from D&D. I suppose I'll never get to actually GM a game of MM&M... but it's fun to read anyway.
