Two suggestions:
1. Create a meta forum where people can post problems and suggestions for the site.
2. Link the logo to the Troll Lords website.
A meta forum?

Re: A meta forum?
Well, I guess these suggestions didn't grow any legs. I really think your logo needs to be linked to the troll site. The meta forum would be where everyone ooohs and aaaahs about the new green and some joker comes in and thinks it would look rad in neon orange and purple! It's also for those that find certain function of the site to be persnickity.

Re: A meta forum?
Well, the trouble is, there seems to be no way too link the logo to the main site. Otherwise we'd have done it a long time ago.

Re: A meta forum?
If all the issue is is to provide some sort of link back to the main site, why not do it in an obvious thread made sticky. These style of forums do seem to neglect the use of logos as links.

Re: A meta forum?
The logo, while on the old host, did not readily support linking. However, these forums are hosted, presumably, somewhere else... but, in the end, its not a big deal to me.
As for the first suggestion -- why create another forum when there is a forum? People have already been using this to say what they felt was wrong or needed fixing.

Re: A meta forum?
I thought i had replied to this post already, but I don't see it here. There are lots of things we will be trying in the near future with the forums, tagging, links, logos, etc. Right now Brian is focused on getting the commerce site to accept coupons and that is taking our time right now.
I also pointed out in my disappearing post that as far a meta forum is concerned, you can always just put your suggestions, questions, etc. in the Q&A with the Trolls. It is universal on the News part of the site and I look at it several times each day and make sure to answer back ASAP or if I can't, I find someone who can. It's one place I know I can go look to see if there is any questions specifically for us.

In the meantime, until everything complex can be programmed into the forums, this seems like a great idea. The thread can always go away later when everything gets done right!Go0gleplex wrote:If all the issue is is to provide some sort of link back to the main site, why not do it in an obvious thread made sticky.
