I thought it was a decent first session despite the minor hiccups we had. I do not know why players kept dropping.
Now that you have some hooks to go on the game should unfold faster.

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
It was a fun session. I just have to be careful about metagaming. I've never played T1, but I've read it a bunch of times.
And the dropping is all Nate's fault. I know he was disconnecting people to screw with them.

First sessions are always a little slow. I had fun though.
I'll be happy to host the Skype call again next time if you'd like. If anyone needs my Skype ID just PM me.

The Maptools maps being such a pain to load is a rarity for me, and their taking so long was definitely unusual. Hopefully that won't happen in the future.
Maybe the maps should be made available an hour before game time so we can hopefully get them all loaded ahead of time.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

PM your emails to me. I am trying to setup Epicwords to see how it works. Might be a nice tool.
Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
I haven't tested any of these DL's, but I found my way to the old Map a Week page over at WOTC, so if it still works....

Been playing with Epicwords. Neat site. I like that fact that it provides one easy to find location for loot, character info, and exp. Sure beats making a new post every couple of weeks to update your character so other players can find your character sheet easily.

Signed up and joined the campaign. Not terribly well organized. Took me a while to figure out how to join your game. The link you sent did not take me to it.

Yeah, I had to sign up and sign in and then click the link; it doesn't remember where you were headed if you have to register first.

Sounds like what happened with me. I still found my way, just took longer than I would have liked.

Hmm. Seems I need a password to join the TOEE campaign.

Nate, just a reminder that I will be out of town this Sunday until after the Super Bowl. Ja'Heim will stay to the back and use his bow. All of his info should be on his fig for whoever plays him.

As long as I can get an Awakening spell to go with it, I don't have a problem with that.nwelte1 wrote:I since a badger coming on.

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
Absent apocalyptic outcry from Football fans, I am intending to run the game this Sunday.
Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
I won't be making it. I thought the game was already canceled due to the super bowl so made other plans with my kids.

So, did the moathouse get taken last night or do we have to roll up new characters?

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
There were a few near death occurrences. Finster likes to sleep during combat. Fulgrim and Hamish like to get pounded by bugbears, but your party was able to make it to the dungeon below the moathouse.

Re: Nate's New Sunday Night Game
Yeah, lessons learned. Fulgrim, even with his scavenged ring mail has an AC less than half of the party; I need to steer him back to being an archer and lay down my halberd.

It would have been quite embarrassing if I got Hamish AND Finster killed.nwelte1 wrote:There were a few near death occurrences. Finster likes to sleep during combat. Fulgrim and Hamish like to get pounded by bugbears, but your party was able to make it to the dungeon below the moathouse.
