Beyond the CKG -- New Helmets

Post by serleran »

I am working on a project to expand various things in C&C, to provide new options and opportunity. Toward that, I have started with new equipment as the gear makes the man or character. This starting document will be some new helms, or things associated with them, such as attachments to improve (or are required for) their protective qualities. I don't expect much feedback except from a few historians to tell me I got something wrong... in fact, I know that, and some of it is on purpose. This is a document for a game... not a treatise. The forums will not let me attach to the post, so you'll need to get it the long way -- clicking the link. It will be available 99 days. If I see little interest (expressed in number of downloads), I will remove it. After all, what's the point if no one bothers?

Anyway...

Link to download

After this, the next will be Armaments (types of armor) and Shields. That will be followed with Weapons (ranged and not). After that, assuming someone cares, I will cover crafting (media effects such as steel vs. iron vs. bronze) and other things...

Serl

I look forward to seeing them, however, because of the stupid firewall here I can't down anything. That being said, I hope you keep them up at least until I get home (Less than a month until I'm freeeee!!!)

Thanks. It looks pretty good. I will pass it onto my players.

Thank you, I appreciate the kind words. I believe Steve anticipates the next serl-book as well, though it is currently waiting on him to tell me what he wants in there, and then I can embellish it to hell.
