Dragon Age: Blood In Ferelden

Post by TheMetal1 »

Picked this and took a read thru the first adventure. Rather dark plot, serious choices. Still haven't had a chance to play Dragon Age, but looking forward to it. Anyone give these adventures a run yet, or played Dragon Age? Thoughts?

I played Dragon Age for a few weeks, I wasn't impressed with it enough to want to keep playing, but I would be willing to play it with a good group.

So is this thing you bought a adventure or the long awaited second boxed set?
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

It is actually a book of three adventures to use with the first box set. Here is the link-a-dink on it from the Developers Journal:

Haven't played DA, nor the computer game, but interesting adventures to say the least and good for throwing at PCs in any game. Do intend to play or run a few sessions when I get a chance.

Alas the second box set languishes from what I hear, but at least they are in playtesting. So there is indeed hope!

Just read over at Green Ronin, it looks like they changed the release plans for Dragon Age a bit. They're still planning on Set 2 with levels 6 to 10, but will not produce a box set for levels 11 to 15 nor for 16 to 20, instead they are going to consolidate it into one box set levels 11 to 20. With additional adventure releases like Blood in Ferelden.

Cool.

While the nostolgic me can appreciate the boxed releases, my paycheck perfers a more Cycopedia approach.
