Chapter 19 Not so Divine Intervention: The Dice page #277
It all started with my purple 20 sider who refused to roll against the party cleric. Every time it rolled into a crack or off the edge of the table.
I tried Threats at first and all seemed to have been fixed till the party one shoted one of my npc's who rolled double 1's durring the fight. The Hammer threat did not seem to help so as per the advice I moved on to Microwave threats.
Next up I had to follow the keeper advice and moved the offending dice away from the other dice so as not to infect them with the funk. However at this point the other dice seemed to come to the defense of the funky dice and all refused to roll well at all.
THIS was not covered in the rules at all and frankly it should have been! At this point im flying on my own but with the advice about Hex attack actions on dice and frankly not wanting to lose control of the situation I moved onto Hex actions with little regard to the well being of the funky 20 sider.
I ruled out crotching the dice right away and instead moved to the Microwave Hex attack. There is NO advice there on time however so remembering my last meal I set the timer on 3:48 seconds/High.
Now the sludge that was my 20 sider will never roll good again. My threat and mini torture turned into something the world council would say was a war crime and now all my dice have refused to roll at all.
THANKS FOR NOTHING TROLLS!! Some friggin good advice in that dang CKG!

Should've read the torture section instead;
you always start small with torture and work your way up.
In other words: use the Defrost setting first, not High.

A real old-school player knows the only way to torture a misbehaving die is with a vise. But first, you gotta line up the others on the workbench so they can see what's going to happen to them if they follow suit...

Or, you could just put 'em all into a rock tumbler and spin 'em
