I can tell you that the print run on hardbacks is scheduled for this week and looks to be on target barring any hardware failure with the new equipment.

Is the "Digest" the same as the hardback or fewer pages? I'm getting the hardback no matter what, but if the digest is condensed, then that might be a reason to buy it.

Digest has been out for a few weeks. Don't know about retail distribution, but Troll-direct has been possible for a few weeks.

The hardcover should ship to distributors next week. They will announce it for the following week and it will be available in early/mid Feb. I pitched the digest versions but some balked at it so those are going direct to consumer AND direct to store. If you give me your store's contact information I'll give them a shout.
