Snow day for the Trolls?

Post by mgtremaine »

I was just checking out the storm maps and Little Rock looks like ground zero for the current blizzard. :) Hope things are warm and peaceful inside the Troll Den!

Thats more than enough to shut this town down. When I lived in Alaska it was impossible to shut down operations for less than 128 feet of snow, but that's not how it is here in Arkansas.

I thought that to. We had over 10 cm, of snow, as of early October. ;)

Gotta realize that Arkansas doesn't exactly put "Snow Removal" into their yearly budget.

Does Arkansas even have snow plows?

A week ago, my driveway had a 30-inch drift right against the garage door (came just above my knees), in the middle of the driveway came down to the tops of my boots, and by the end, was back above the mid-thigh. Don't remember snow like that since '79.

There is a reason I live in Florida. Didn't used to, but I sure do now. 77 degrees and the sun came all the way up past my knees today :)

i know, i spent most of my adult life living in maine and not blinking an eye about a foot of snow. you'd think it was the end of the world when a couple inches came down. but what someone said earlier is true, they don't exactly budget for it down here so it makes sense ppl are more anxious about it.
