Got my CKG Perfect-Bound, or "My wait is over!"

Post by Lord Dynel »

Ordered it Thursday, came in Saturday. I had to go camping that afternoon, didn't get back till Sunday afternoon, had my bi-weekly game, and now have to settle into bed for work early in the morning. But it's in my possession, at least, and the time will come, real soon, for me to be able to finally pour over it's contents. Oh yes, it will...

:x *grumblemuttersigh* It's okay. I didn't order the Perfect Bound. I'll just have to get my CKG goodness vicariously for now.

Got mine Saturday morning also. I'm into it a couple of chapters already and so far I've liked what I've read.

Awesome! I can't wait until the hardbacks ship. (I probably should have ordered a perfect bound one also, just to get it faster. Oh, well.)

I made a purchase on Feb 2

It was the MT of Airde and of Gods and monsters.

Fifteeen days later I get a message it has been sent on feb 17th.

It is now Feb 25 and still nothing.

Is this normal?

I have not bought any gaming stuff since Harvesters.
I have to admit I am less than excited about the apparent move toward softback books and digest size stuff so when I saw the sale for hardbacks I jumped at it excited to pick up a couple hardbound books.

I get home at midnight after being on the road for work for most of this month so I can go back on the road next Monday.
I have been asking my wife daily...any package?

Needless to say my excitement died away about a week ago. Maybe if I move to Canada?

seriously though...what the heck?

wait, did you order the CKG with that? that may require a slightly different answer than

NO that's unusual. Steve headed out to Jersey for a con (or guest appearance on Jersey Shore - can't remember) yesterday but i'll drop by the office to see what's up at some point today.

email steve so he can give me the heads on who to look for.

No it was the M&T of Airde and Of Gods and Monsters hardbound sale.

My guess is the local postal service sucks.

Was thumbing through the CKG this morning and simply looking
at all the great artwork.

When you get your CKG, be sure to go a page or two PAST the
index pages -- the inside of the last page has an awesome
Peter Bradley picture and you don't want to miss it, really.

Yeah, the artwork is really sweet. All the artists have some really good stuff in it. I'm a big Elmore fan, so it was nice to see his inclusion.

Yeah, I need to talk to Steve too, I think I was supposed to get the Of Gods and Monsters HC along with the HC of M&T of Airhde, but since I made a phone call I did not get an itemized billing statement, so I need to have Steve look at it from his end to see if it was part of the order.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
