About BASH?

Post by Shenron »

Alright, since I got rid of all my Mutants and Mastermind stuff, I am eagerly awaiting the new third edition as well as getting my hands on their DC heroes RPG.

In the mean time, I have heard good things about BASH! but I do not know anything about the game play and the feel of it. Anyone who was played bash want to share?

BASH -- particularly as presented in the BASH Ultimate Edition book is my favorite Supers genre RPG hands down. Before BASH, my 'go-to' Supers game was the old Marvel FASERIP system. It's fun... quick... and really well thought out.

Combat is simple enough and while play is very much emphasizes a rules-light feel, and can be run fast and loose but as far as rules are concerned, are quite nicely and tightly packaged. It has something to please most type of players and game masters as far as systems go.
