These woods aren't filled with skyclad nymphs or the frantic beat of bongos.

I got my Sunday switched to another weekday, so hopefully that means I'll be able to host my game next week.

Game cancelled.

I assume Rigon is working, not sure about Sir Aramis.

We'll try again in 2 weeks, then.

Rhu, sorry. I forgot about your game and was in bed by 830. I worked 10 hours Friday night and then had to work 16 on Saturday night. I was exhausted all day Sunday.

Whoa, that's a lot of hours. No worries, I figured your absence was due to work - or in this case, the lack of sleep due to working so much!

That's 'cause you're not exercising it enough. The internets need much gaming to keep them in top form and function!!

Anyway, you leveled up after defeating that Banth so easily, while the rest of the party was sleeping! ;)

It wouldn't have been so bad, but there was a crazy chick celebrating her birthday and I pretty much had to babysit her all day and night until the bar closed at 2 am. That was tiring in and of itself. Then we had to shut off like 2 or 3 other people and throw them out. And this Saturday, we have another big concert going on, so I'll probably have another 12-14 hour shift in Saturday night.

Thinking out loud . . . gurgle, gurgle.

I'm wondering if any of my players would be interested in CO-DM'ing this campaign on those nights where I can't run the game.

You could design an easy 1 off section of any dungeon level or have a mini adventure on Mars or the Starship Warden.

I'm also still trying to get some days changed and should know soon. I'm also considering requesting off on every other Sunday night. And since I hate working Sunday nights anyway, as I usually have to work early Monday morning, I'm prolly gonna do the request off thing.

Thoughts?

[Btw, Jay is away from the game for another few weeks, but should be back soon]

OK, so I requested off for next Sunday and it looks like I can run the game. I should be able to do this every other week with no problemos.

So, who's game to game?

Please sound off or send me a PM!

I am game to game as always, but I think at this point I need to qualify; I am game to game if we have a regular party and a regular schedule.

While you run a campaign that clearly can contain just about anything, I am not sure I'd feel comfortable adding to it, and again, I am not sure the audience would be there.

I should say there is no malice hidden in these statements; just observing it's been hard to find a game or a quorum.

I don't know if I'll make it or not. Since I've been working Sundays, I don't get home until 730-8 my time and I'm usually wiped out from having to deal with drunks and arsehats all day.

Thanks for posting. Perhaps you can play for a couple of hours and then quit early. Otherwise, no problemo - I'll run your character and you know what that means!!

I'm probably going to blow off the night job, as union dues are causing me to earn less money than my day job. I'm going to hit them for a raise on Saturday, if they don't bite, then they'll have my 2 weeks notice.

Even if I stay, I'm doing away with Sunday nights!! :)

[I'm sending a PM to Aramis to see if he's still with us]

Rigon will be winding down his working Sunday nights in September, I think . . . so he should be more regular to gaming.

Incidentally, I could run this game on Thursdays or Fridays, if y'all are interested!

Hmmm, that's odd ~

the game hasn't started but the white ape creatures on Mars are ripping Snorri to shreds. Only seconds before they tear his rib cage out of his body.

Hopefully, Aramis will show up tonight!

My game is one for this Sunday evening . . assuming we have players.

If not, I have no problem with killing the game ~ and spending my Sunday evenings BBQ'ing, smoking cigars and drinking bourbon around the firepit! :D

Sir Aergraith . . I can run the game, if you wish. You can use NPCs either from the game or ones that you could create.

And incidentally, your wife is welcome to sit in if she wants.

I have a friend at work that plays D&D, I'm gonna ask her if she wants to join our game.

Anyway, I'll be online Sunday night to chat if you can make it.
