Storage ideas for the new Aihrde maps

Post by dachda »

So my beautiful new Aihrde maps arrived this week. Congratulations to Peter and Steve, they are fantastic! But I quickly realized that I've no good method for storing them. How does one safely store nine 12" x 18" maps? For now I've left them in the big cardboard priority mail envelope they arrived in, but I need a good long term solution. Any one thought about this yet?

Go down to an art supply store. They have portfolio binders of varying size. I use an 11x17 binder for my half size drafting and civil 3D prints/ drawing portfolio. They have slip pocket pages so you get additional protection of your maps and are able to flip through them as pages. Should only run around $25 give or take.

That is a darn fine idea. Never thought of that to protect my various maps. Thanks Go0gleplex.
