Carcass eaters multiple segmented worm body is grayish green in in color. Its tentacles are a nauseating shade of pink.

Carcass eaters roam underground areas devouring rancid carcasses. Ravenous by nature these filthy worms are keen enough to stock their own larder. When they encounter living creatures they will try to get above them. As ambush predators they drop onto prey surprising them. The Carcass eater extrudes a viscous substance that enables it to cling to walls and ceilings.
Around their large maws they have six small tentacles. These slime covered appendages aid the creature in hunting. Each tentacle is covered in a neurotoxin that causes paralysis to those who come in contact.
Carcass eaters reproduce by laying eggs in half devoured carcasses.

Combat: Unless caught eating, the creatures cling to ceilings and await prey. They drop unto prey and wrap themselves around the victim grappling it. Once grappled its tentacles seek flesh to contact and paralyze. Once the creature is paralyzed the Carcass eaters will block the prey’s air passage and let it expire. They give the corpse a few days to ripen and finally devour it.

Looks like a rendition of a classic. ;) However, the movement rates need to be revised...they're faster than some creatures fly and considering an average medium creature moves only 30ft, they can outrun anything on the ground about as well.

The name "Carion Crawler" is one of the few that cannot be reproduced. Thats why, in the book I just wrote, you will find The Cadaver Caterpillar, or "Cadavapillar". :)

We had carcass eaters in our campaign, too, but we called them "Crows."
