Hey folks! I haven't been on the boards for a few years and I'm finally back. Movies 800 miles north and having to find a new gaming group has taken some time. Let's just say it's great to be back!
My new gaming group is warming to the idea of playing some C&C after I am done with my Dogs in the Vineyard game. I plan on running a savage species game where the players are orcs, goblins, kobolds etc and they have to stop the evil adventurers from murdering their tribes and toppling their gods etc. Is there a supplement out there that someone has done for this yet? If not I will share what I'm working on to get advice, input etc.
Finally one of you folks out there did a fantastic critical hits and fumbles chart a few years back. It may have appeared in a Crusdaer issue, if so could someone point me to the issue so I can get it. Thanks!

Re: Back After a Long Time/Savage Species Campaign
I've done something like this, making it something of a domain-management system (stole most of the Domain system from BECMI/RC D&D, actually).
The PCs ran a tribe of goblins (first adventure was them saving the tribe from invading adventurers while the "chief" cowered in his throne room... so they overthrew the chief and took over the tribe). Then I came up with a system allowing them to "claim" hexes of territory and grow and improve their tribe.
My initial plan had been to have each player playing a different race, so they could band together and forge a monster horde... But the players all wanted to play goblins (which was probably a good idea, since I was using 3.5 D&D for this game and the added complexity of multiple races and tribes might not have worked so well).
If I were to do it again, I'd probably consider running it with C&C and using the Fields of Battle supplement to handle large-scale conflicts between the PCs' troops and those "pesky human conquistadors".
