Castle Zagyg artwork . . coins??

Post by Tadhg »

Hey . . anyone who has the CZ boxed set - question?

Those coins (gold I assume) that have the great likeness of Gary on them (featured on the back of the box and on the back of each book); does anyone know what the letters denote, if anything?

:)

Looks like "AVCKAI" on the left side. The right side, if it is writing at all, is unreadable.

Wow, great!
Is this real or good workmanship with Photoshop?

The coins are real. I actually just stuck Gary's face on an old roman coin design.

The one depicted in the picture above is very real. My folks and I, with Gary's permission, made a short run of them. 8-)

No, just something from around the time when Gary passed. I saved a copy of this image and assumed it was a key chain attachment from way back when the original C&C Society existed. :)

Thanks Peter. It's definitely a nice touch to the CZ boxed set release!

The design actually started a long back and forth email dialogue between me and himself, with a lot of humour, which led to the coin design. Gary thought it was funny. :)

Heyo.

Sorry, I meant to get this image up earlier for those that might not have the CZ box and had been interested in the subject.
