PDF bookmarking

Post by Metathiax »

Anyone knows how to bookmark a Pdf (a simple solution would be preferable... )? My Adobe Reader's bookmark tab does not offer the option of doing so and PrimoPDF won't convert my Doc file's bookmarks (although it does convert web links)...

Simple solution: get Adobe Acrobat (NOT the reader). In order to create a bookmark, you have to embed the bookmark into the PDF. You need a program that writes more than basic PDFs to do that.

You have to create bookmarks manually, AFAIK. They're not automatically generated by Acrobat either.

Yep. Manual bookmarking with Acrobat. Perhaps 995pdf can do it, but that program adds so much crap to the system that I don't suggest it, despite its status as free...
