World of Tanks!

Post by CKDad »

Sweet baby Unklar, this is a lot of fun. Free to play, though you can spend as much as you like via microtransactions. You start off with a 1920s-30s era tankette and can progress up to the late-WWII heavy metal.

Two thumbs up from the middle-aged former treadhead.

Agreed - I've been back on the WoT wagon since I dropped off of it around 2 months ago hard and heavy the past week and a half.

See you on the digital field; my handle there is "Butt_Fisto," (don't drink and name yourself for an online game, by the way).

Yes, great game. I play as Rapscallion58.

I find I enjoy the lower tier tanks more than the heavies.

I was enjoying it a lot until I started encountering idiots that chose to shoot at their own side too often. One particular idiot decided to ram my tank and then spend ages shooting at me, blowing my tracks off. After encountering these fools in several games in succession, that pushed me over the edge and I gave up on WoT.

The proper response to "World of Tanks!" is "You're welcome!"
