Simple question really... I read Steve was getting coins minted a while back and now I see that they are givingcoins as part of the kickstarter preorder thing. What pray tell are these and, more importantly, what are they good for?
Are they redeemable for free Dr.Pepper or something?
Is there a picture someplace of what these look like??

Maybe they are challenge coins http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Challenge_coin...
When a group of crusaders (of drinking age, and known to own a coin, say because they are listed in the credits for Classic Monsters) get together, if one pulls out a coin, all the others must too; those who cannot must buy drinks.

These are coins that have certain cash value stamped on them. Basically you can trade them in as money for whatever product.

As a retired military guy, and have earned challenge coins from the units I've been in and worked with, I LOVE this idea!

Okay, but how do you trade one in for mail order? Or are they only good at conventions or something?gideon_thorne wrote:These are coins that have certain cash value stamped on them. Basically you can trade them in as money for whatever product.
