Kobold Quarterly #20

Post by Christina Stiles »

Btw, if anyone cares to read it, I was interviewed in KQ #20 (and have an adventure in there). Anyway, I plugged C&C therein, letting folks know I generally run my convention games with the Castles & Crusades rules.

What is the module like? Can you give any details?
Game system? Levels? Party requirements?

It's called "Captured in the Cartways," and it is a very short Pathfinder adventure (like 3,000 words) for 5th-level characters. It takes place in the Cartways of Zobeck, which are the old kobpld mining tunnels benath the city. The Cartways are home to several unusual denizens, and they also attract gangs. One such gang assaults the PCs in the tunnels. Instead of killing them, they ask them for a favor: go take care of an odd creature who has encroached on their boss' territory. I won't give away what the creature is, but it's a difficult encounter, for sure.

This could easily be adapted to C&C (and I might see about doing that), and it's usable in any area beneath an urban center. It can also be used in connection with my "Fish & the Rose" adventure in Streets of Zobeck, taking place at a specific point in that module.

By the by, I've been doing some writing for Zobeck, and it's a good city for placing into most any campaign. I use it to run my C&C con games.
