New Grand daughter!

Post by Sir Ironside »

Mother and baby (Clara) are well. She was a little over 8 pounds.

In a matter of 4 months I went from 1 Grand daughter to 3 (My son had a little girl 4 months ago. Tara-Lynn.)

Sure it makes me feel older each grandchild I get (I'm only 44), but the positives out-weigh the negatives by a wide margin. :D

My first grand daughter is old enough now, that she is talking and it is so cool when she calls me Papa. I'm the first of all the grandparents that she knows how to say my name.

Congratulations!! Nothing more fun and more rewarding than grandchildren. But you're young yet. We have seven right now, with three more due next year. (Youngest daughter is marrying a guy with three kids -- and the kids have been bugging them for YEARS to get married so we could be their "cool grandparents.")

THESE are the reasons why life is an adventure grand! :D

Canada isn't on the no trade with Cuba, so there are plenty of Cuban cigars to go around. Maybe I'll give them two, one Cuban; one bubblle gum. :D

Still a few years away... but, it gives me a reason to buy Harvesters now.

Thanks everyone for the kind words.
