Mutant Future with Siege Engine and C&C rules
Mutant Future with Siege Engine and C&C rules
I've been looking over the Mutant Future RPG. The price is certainly right for the no-art download(free), although I sprung for the art version awhile back. There's much to like, but I can't help but think how this game would excel under most of the C&C rules set(including the Siege Engine). A partnership between Goblinoid Games and TLG for MF would be like chocolate and peanut butter, unless prohibited by the OGL. Some artwork could be kept in, with some new pieces added in. Retool the character sheet a bit, etc., and I think a cool looking game becomes even better. Any thoughts?

Mutant future is a great game, as it Metamorphosis Alpha (one of the big inspirations for MF). Both can be found pretty cheap. I know that MA is now on PDF and POD, so you don't have to pay big e-bay prices for it.
Fundamentially, MA was written to be somewhat OD&D compatible and MF was designed to be nearly 100% compatible with LL, which is a B/X-inspired game.
This means that both should fit together with C&C very well!

Mutant Future looks like it would be so much fun to play. I have yet to find anybody who wants to play. The latest update to the rules from Goblinoid Games, the book with the new cover art, is superb.

I'm not much of an online player/GM. However, I should probably just come up to one of my favorite states in the union, Maine, and run a game.

I have the pdf rules which I had printed out and bound. I have to agree with Tyler, this could be a really cool thing with the Seige engine.
