Ok, so when the Trolls get ready to digitally remaster this for the 4th printing, What would you like to see added - if anything - to the book?
1. I think it would be worth the effort to put a picture of each monster in there.
2. Clarify the rules on how to calculate Experience Points, and add in an average XP chart or index for each monster.
3. Clarify the rules on Magic Item creation.

1) All errata fixed ...
2) A picture for every single creature that doesn't have a real world equivalent (e.g., humans, animals, giant animals).
3) Every OGL monster not already included, especially giant version of animals. Seriously, what classic low-level dungeon crawl is complete without without giant centipedes, beetles, and wasps!

My original treasure system.
A breakdown of the ability types making it easier to gauge the relative power of a new creature.
Details on lairs.
Details on familiars.
The iconic creatures dropped, such as demons, devils, and the "vermin."
Of course, I would also prefer the book expanded to 172 pages.

Can't see this happening; not when Steve is rewriting the Book of Familiars to C&C.serleran wrote:Details on familiars.
This would be nice but wouldn't it depend on having stuff to fill those pages?serleran wrote:Of course, I would also prefer the book expanded to 172 pages.

I don't think he meant those pages to be blank, hoss.Arakor wrote:This would be nice but wouldn't it depend on having stuff to fill those pages?serleran wrote:Of course, I would also prefer the book expanded to 172 pages.
Need stats/rules for the Animated Object. More planar creatures would be good, also. Higher level challenges (that aren't necessarily dragons or planar creatures) for the expanded levels of experience. Perhaps better/more concise rules for creating magical items?
LD's C&C creations - CL Checker, a witch class, the half-ogre, skills, and 0-level rules

I'd kinda like to see the entires for normal animals incorporated from the Monsters & Treasure of Aihdre book, myself. But I suspect that might affect the page count.

Def. more art and more creatures and the lair descriptions. I'd also like to see a softcover and hardcover version.
