My score at a nearby gaming store

Post by Lord Dynel »

The Shades of Fantasy (which reminds me of The Arcanum, a little) was a little beaten up, but for only $2 I bit. The Lone Wolf RPG was mint. The two TSR boxes were battered, but the stuff inside was in really good shape, and they were complete. The Wizard's Quest I picked up just for jollies. Grand total - $30. I didn't think it was too bad. :)

Of all the games i lost when my stuff was given to charity while i was in basic training. Top Secret i miss the most. That version was too cool. The later version was meh.

Yep, I played this version many moons ago and liked it a lot. The guy at the FLGS, while ringing me up, paused at the TOP SECRET box and said, "Now this was a cool game. I still have mine on my bookshelf." Thought that was pretty cool.

I remember Wizard's Quest, I used play that with a friend back in 1980. Haven't seen one in a long time. Very cool. (Top Secret and Gamma World also bring back memories.)
