Character Stats for C&C

Post by treant_on_fire »

Just for fun... Primes are in brackets.

- Rudolph Van Richten: Human Rogue lvl 9 (Dex, Int, Wis)
I already posted a thread about my C&C version of Van Richten.

- Sherlock Holmes (Downey Jr version): Class and a Half - Human Rogue/Monk lvl 12 (Int, Wis, Cha)
He'd be advanced far enough so his supporting class of Monk receives Feign Death, which I think is thematically appropriate! :p

- Artemis Entreri: Multi-Class - Human Fighter/Assassin lvl 15 (Dex, Con, Int)
Since in the books they always claimed Artemis was Drizz't's equal when it comes to fighting, I made sure they both have the same BtH bonus. Artemis would have less Hit Points though, which would explain why Drizz't came out victorious during their confrontations but just barely.

- Drizzt Do'Urden: Drow Ranger lvl 16 (Dex, Wis)
Nothing fancy, just gave him his 3.5 level. Ironically the C&C Ranger fits Drizzt a lot more than the official D&D Rangers.

- Conan: Class and a Half - Human Barbarian/Rogue lvl 20 (Str, Dex, Con)
I know many would remind me that Conan wasn't just a dumb brute, to which I'll agree. Nothing stops him from having really good mental stats... But I still think his Primes should be physical. As for the level, honestly I just played it safe and gave him 20. Maybe I overdid it a bit.

- Obi-Wan Kenobi (As seen in A New Hope): Multi-Class - Human Rogue/Wizard/Bard lvl 18 (Dex, Int, Cha)
I know this one might seem like a bit of a stretch... Still, here's how I see it. The Force powers are covered via the Wizard class. The way he sneaks around the Death Star without being seen, Rogue class. It could even be argued that when he was messing with the Death Star's equipment he was rolling to Disable Traps. His vast knowledge? The Bard's Legend Lore. The way he convinces the Stormtrooper those weren't the droids they were looking for? Bard's Fascinate. The way he would advice Luke and allow his pupil to accomplish great things? A Bard's Exhort Greatness.

- Ash Williams (As seen in Army of Darkness): Human Fighter lvl 10 (Str, Con, Int)
Intelligence, Ash??? Actually, yes. All those gadgets he built required a lot of brains, actually. What he completely lacks is Wisdom to think things through and pay attention to his surroundings or what's being said to him!

- The Doctor: Time Lord Rogue/Bard lvl 20 (Int, Wis, Cha)
No he's not Human, but he's still getting three Primes. And even though Constitution is not a Prime (because four Primes would just be too much!), you can bet he has a really high score in it. Those two hearts probably give him a nice bonus! As a side-note, I'm pretty sure a Regeneration would require a Constitution Check. Anyway, getting off-track. He obviously inspires his companions, so Bard, and he's Disabling Traps all the time with his Sonic Screwdriver, which must give him one heck of a bonus on those rolls, thus Rogue! He also uses a Bard's Fascinate when he does long speeches and his enemies just stand there and listen or discuss things with him. Take note that Regenerations might allow him to change his stats, Primes or even classes around sometimes. The Third Doctor would have been Rogue/Monk, for example, but I suggest he split his XP to become a Rogue/Monk/Bard. Despite the newly acquired combat skills that would have made him a lower level all around... Which fits with the notion that he couldn't pilot the TARDIS anymore! (What must the CL be to pilot that???)

- Indiana Jones: Class and a Half - Human Rogue/Fighter lvl 12 (Dex, Con, Int)
I almost made him just Rogue but he does a lot of direct fighting and he seems capable with all weapons, so let's give him Fighter as a supporting class!

That's all for now! I'll probably add more later on, feel free to comment on these and/or post your own!

Haha, not too shabby!
LD's C&C creations - CL Checker, a witch class, the half-ogre, skills, and 0-level rules
