We would like one or two new players in our Tuesday game...

Post by Treebore »

We play 8 PM to 11 PM Eastern, which is 5 PM Pacific, some times later, everyone willing. We use Maptools .87 and SKYPE. Campaign world is Greyhawk and we are currently between the City of Greyhawk and Dyvers. Next session is tonight. We'll probably convert to "Roll 20" in the near future.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

If not Regular, how about Premium or a mid-range octane?

Again, wish I could jump in ... Work my Masters etc is killing me right now ... After Dec, I'll be free form the college work, so hopefully then.

I've never played roll 20, what is the difference, why the switch?

Yes, we are still looking.

Why Roll 20? Mainly because it does not require a server, it is all reliant on the browser. Plus it does everything Maptools does, in some ways even more easily. Plus it also allows you to integrate music, and do video conferencing if everyone has enough internet power. I have DSL, so likely will never do the video.

Ohhhh I thought it was to replace C&C ... not map tools ...

Again, I wish I could jump in, but no joy until I hit send on my capstone on Dec 17th. That said, After the holidays, if there is room left, I'd love to toss some dice with you all again!

Message Kayolan. Technically the game links are in this forum.

Slimykuotoan started the thread where we post characters. In fact I am redoing mine, since mine was lost in the board crash a few weeks ago.

There have been a few dozen times we wished we had a thief. In fact, if my PC dies I have been considering a Ranger/Thief as my next PC.

I may go Bard/Thief then. Just need to come up with a background/concept.

That should work great! We can definitely use a good front man too. We dwarves do NOT interact well with others, and neither does that half elf. (Technically, Dwarf, Half-Dwarf, and Half elf, both of human lineage.)
