Post by nightstorm »

So I get a free module or magazine with my Kickstarter. Which one should I get? module or magazine? Which issue/module?
And why? would like to know others opinions. Thanks.

I wound up going for the StarSIEGE module, "Another Fine Mess", simply because I've got everything else on the list.

What: Playboy, December 1953.

Why: Marilyn Monroe.

But, really, I would probably go with a module simply because I would tned to find it more useful. Not to run, necessarily, but to rip out maps, NPCs, items, spells, encounters... all the "stuff" that makes the module, just not in the format it is presented.

Does anyone know if these will be physical copies or pdfs?

I really like the C-series of modules. Shades of Mist, etc.

While we're on the topic, bonus reward #6 indicated that we'd get to choose an electronic copy/format (presumably of the PHB). But, if we're in above the 10 dollar level, don't we get a PDF already anyway? Did somebody else understand what reward #6 meant?

I didn't even think about if it's a copy or pdf. That would be good to know.

Shadows of Halfling Hall (U1) is a decent starting module, suitable for levels 1-2. It's not a terribly long adventure, but I think it's a good starting adventure and playable over a session or two. And there are a couple of new monsters in the back that are pretty interesting, too.

Obvious answer is Dark Journey.

I've heard good things about Dark Journey, actually.

Trolls,

Is 8320 Goblins of Mount Shadow an option for the PHB kickstarter reward? I emailed asking buy haven't gotten an answer yet.

Thanks.

That was my hope initially... I was a bit dismayed when I saw that the list didn't include it. Of course, at that point I realized that even A10 didn't make the list and I pre-ordered that one what seems to be a while ago. It's probably no where near ready for when the PHB's will be ready to ship which is likely why it isn't on the list.

I'm not sure which I'll end up choosing in the end since I also have all the C&C mods as well though I may grab the StarSiege one or just one of my favorites as something I can gift to someone else.
