5th Printing Players Handbook

Post by apastuszak »

What's new in the 5th Printing of the Players Handbook besides the art? Are there rules changes?

Aside from incorporating errata, the only rules changes are to the Encumbrance section.

But it looks absolutely AMAZING.

I must concur with my esteemed colleague, as it is indeed awesome.

This is a must have. I purchased 4 at GenCon. I now have just one. My group bought me out.

Agreed. Even though I have several copies of other printings, I just had to buy one!

The new leather bound 5th print is most excellent as well. If you have been lucky enough to score one of these full color, leather-bound beauties then I suspect you would agree that it's got the highest production values of any TLG product released thus far.

I feel a bit like Pippin when he exclaimed, "It comes in pints!?"

There's a leather-bound edition? Where does one find them?

The leatherbound edition of the C&C PHB was a perk in the 5th Printing Kickstarter project. It was in the higher level contribution amounts.

Doh! Being new to C&C, I certainly missed out on the Kickstarter!
But the 5th edition book is amazing! It looks fabulous (except the too dark pic on page 21).
