I survived another End of the World!

Post by Julian Grimm »

I woke up expecting fireballs, zombies, Galactus, or even a comet. What did I get? Laundry, dishes, chores and more mundane work. Just like the last 20 world ending events this was more a whimper than a bang. I think I'll go back to bed now.

I know we haven't 'officially' survived but I couldn't wait to start posting. In all honesty for an Apocalypse it has been a boring day. :?

I'm a bit less than 3 hours away from officially being able to say I survived. So how will I celebrate? I'm going to bed.

Well, I got a lot to celebrate, not just the end of the world (well lack there of). I got my final grade from my MA capstone 99.8%, so I end my master's with a 4.0 ! That should earn me a bit of good adult beverages.... ;)

However. I have a nasty sinus infection, so can't enjoy it tooooo much. :(

That said, I just finished a good Grimburgen, and have opened up a Hobgoblin ... :D

I thought I would at least get to fight off some flesh eating ghouls, but alas, just had to work. On the plus side, it's the first job I've found in three years, so the end of the world would have just pissed me off. ;)

I've been laid up in bed for the last 10 days due to gout in the knee and abnormal swelling of the feet. I'm so bored I was looking forward to the big kaboom.

Dagnabbit! We all failed our CON saving rolls!

Well, I'd rather have cinnamon raisin rolls anyway.
