Closed on the refinance today...

Post by Treebore »

It will save us over $340/month. Thanks to the special VA refinance program my costs were less than $200.00.

We intend on keeping our payments the same to pay down the principal faster. Which will save us a minimum of $30,000.00 in interest over the life of the mortgage.

So a good way to start the new year.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Congrats

I'm still fighting the VA to get my initial disability amount Oked (almost a year & half). Once that is done, I hope to get a good loan and get a real house - instead of the 40 year old trailer house I'm in now.

With that, I can imagine how good it is to get the new loan on your land !!!

We are over 7 years now fighting for my wife's full benefits. They keep refusing to read the actual words that are in her medical records.

Congratulations!

And I found that the proper way to fight the VA, was to insist that I wasn't disabled and I wanted to stay active duty.

Which is true. I would much rather have my hearing and sense of balance than the pittance of disability pay.
