Too Funny
Now that I got ya attention here is session one which was an intro session to C&C for these three adventurers:
Character backgrounds were fleshed out and two of our three party members entwined their backgrounds.
The Party:
1st level Human Knight- Male Atticus (Robert)
1st level Gnome Bard (Squire)- Male
1st Level Albino Half-orc Monk-Male K'rager ( Vynn)
IN the mist of daily routines as a Knight in training, a messengers approached our knight ans faithful squire with urgent news from the lord of his manor (also his father). Atticus swiftly rides back to his lords keep with his squire to find his father in council with an old friend of the family, Brother Thompson from the Asguardian temple from the north. Thomson reveals a tale of woe that has reach his ears which troubles his soul, the third shiar of New Briar was consumed by the shadows of darkness and despair. Thompson was gathering worthy companions to investigate and his first stop was the house of Tinnum to recruit the youngest son of Horst the Tenacious. With Horst's blessing , Atticus and his squire would represent his household and bring further glory to their noble house. With his small entourage he rode along side with Brother Thompson to the village of Prethrulia to recruit a representative of the Burning Blades, known in common as the Burning Blades. The Burning Blades were a nomadic tribe of 1/2 orcs who warred against the Oakland raiders. The mayor and constable of Prethrulia arranged the meeting as the Burning Blades had set up migration benefits with this town during this season. Brother Thompson presented the Burning Blades with an offer from New Briar to establish trade as well as seasonal lodging for their assistance with their current situation. Terms were accepted and a chosen warrior from the Burning Blades was given this task. In route they fought a band orc bandits who were part of the infamous orc tribe known throughout the lands, The Oakland Raiders. Six orcs were easily dispatched as the players enjoyed the smoothness of combat using the siege engine The orcs had a human suspended in a cage which the party allowed to live but didn't release either out of suspicion. This was actually meant to be an ally down the road should players need it, The trapped creature was actually an imprisoned phoenix.
Together our group traveled south to the third shiar known as New Briar.

Summary of Session Two:
The Party arrives seeks a room at Inn of the Portly Partridge, owned and ran by Redd Softfoot and his wife
Cleanna. Here they are in formed that the one "Tall Fellow" room available has been reserved for Atticus. The bard in the group was the only other from the entourage The caravan made camp outside the Inn with tents. Shortly after settling in one of men at arms contact each of the party that the acting mayor will be arriving shortly to expound on the matters concerning New Briar. The acting Mayor of New Briar Grayson Bottombarrel , arrived and explained the situation to the party that Willic Brambletoe, nephew of Janos Brambletoe, inherited the vast riches and magic that Janos had left him after his timely death several months ago. Since that time Willic has claim nobility through his new found riches and was having a mansion and dinning hall built to the north. The first levels of both grand structures were finished when Willic decided to host a feast of Feasts in his grand dinning hall. Half the town was invited, including the mayor and several other noble houses. This is when disaster hit. darkness plagued the halls and screams of terror echoed down each corridor. When the lights came on, many of the guest were missing as well as their host.
Since then some of the guests have been spotted walking the streets but as the undead.. Many in New Briar were packing their lives to the second shire: Elmhurst. Our party wasted no time, they went to speak with some of the outskirt farmers who have witnessed the dead but had hesitation of speaking with such intimidation people . Infuriated by the lack of cooperation they headed right for the grand hall and mansion.
Investigating and clearing out the grand hall revealed a few hints as to where the missing people were. This hall was filled with piles of dead corpses which came to life and attacked the party. With some good rolls for turning by Brother Thomson, the party quickly dispatched what were later determined as ghouls. Several encounters with ghouls occurs including one with Willic himself who had been turned into the undead. By the end of this battle filled encounter our party gather information from his Willic's office library and files in the Hall and went back to the Inn where some of the documents were compared to retrieved documents by the local magistrate. The bard quickly discovers a hidden passage was built into the mansion which led to an underground level that the magistrates blueprints knew nothing about....
They question few in the Inn to discover that Wllic had dwarven stonemasons come to new Briar for the stonework on his mason. Determined to investigate the lower levels, the party recovered from the days battles with a good nights rest and some healing. bright and early the group went to the mansion and cleared out the upper level which had some ghouls. After hard searching, a secret door was discovered in a fireplace which led to the lower levels. To the parties surprise the bard explained that these were ancient catacombs constructed millenniums ago. The bard not filled with much wisdom or education on this subject ( didn't really use his class skills, was npc'd this session) derived what he could from vast murals in each room. Quite a few zombies and ghouls were fought. While many traps were sprung but in the end, it seems there was more that the group couldn't locate, the cause and solution......

At this point, our gnome stopped showing up cuz he couldn't do this module on his own. he spoke of how he and two others decimated the original tomb of horrors with three pc's from patherfinder that were 10th level. I imagine his gnome bard who only had a +1 to hit and damage was exciting enough as he didn't utilize his characters abilities or come up with a background for his character.
We also lost our half orc monk who decided C&C didn't have enough rules for his character. He had a good imagination but I guess needed more structure written out for him on his character as much of his actions weren't fluid during game. Never heard of someone not wanting to play a system cuz it was too easy before this, to each his own
Four new adventurers joined the Frey.
This session has taken place three days prior to our lest session's ending so as to have the new players get used to the system and get to know each other. Onto our story.
The new players and the old:
Dark Elf Jester - Jester-Male- Wiz (Glen)
Half Elf (Dark,Wood) female- Lolly (Wendy) (switched to half elf after creating a nicely written background)
Half Elf Fighter-Female Vraska (Tanya)
Human Monk- Male Max (Mike)
Our motley crew ended up in the town of Edinburh, where the Jesters did what come most natural to them, cause chaos. While observing the dark elves who cleverly hide their nature with Jester paint , they drew much attention to themselves from the authorities as well as the local thieves guilds. One guild in particularly took an interest to the new people in town broadcasting their interest in buying poisons in the market place.
After inquiring about obtaining a license to handle and purchase poisons, the local magistrate/constables were avare of possible new "players" in town.
The small but deadly guild know as "Omniscience" , began their investigation into possible new recruits or enemies. The guild began surveillance of the Jesters but was noticed by our fighter and monk, which began to stalk the predators.
This is where the fun begins. A thief who was observing the Jesters began to be stalked by our fighter who was surprised by two thieves who were being watch by our monk. In this order, the fighter attempts to grapple her prey as the two thieves attempt a backstab on our fighter. The fighter misses the stalking thief and gets backstabbed by a thief sneaking on her. The monk gets a running start to deliver a flying kick but misses and instead demolishes the vending station behind the thieves.
The original monitoring thief disappears into the crowd and the fighter delivers a crushing brassed knuckled punch one of the thieves as our jesters finish off the second thief. The authorities become alert as our party escapes to the Ugly Swine Inn. Here they gather information and learn that this is a smaller guild in town but is one of the main suppliers of poisons to other guilds. And they frequent a powerful assassin from time to time to handle their dirty work. The male jester decides he will demand an audience with the local lord of the kingdom and brushed aside. paranoid of retaliation our band gathers together for survival. The next day the women decide to bath while the men eat breakfast and are attacked by more thieves. they killed an assassin and were able to grab a bit more information at the local temple of Dionysus. Wiz and Lolly are escorted to the local constable where they are informed that the local lord wishes them to willing leave Endinburh before they are banished. Wiz decides to try and trap some guild member but in essence was killed by a stalking thief, Max misses with another attempt with a devastating kick while Vraska kills another thief. Quickly bringing their fallen comrade back to health the clerics inform the party of how their lives are in danger if they stay in this town. Ethan, an appraiser in the temple of Dionysus, tells the group of adventurers of a small village of halflings who are in need of aid and they can smuggle them to the Third Shire in the morning.
Next session our motley crew will meat of with Roberts Knight to assist in the finishing of his quest.

Summary of Session Four :
This session our Monk was npc'd and our knight couldn't make it so i planned a road filled with mystery to New Briar. Let me tell ya something, it was eventful to say the least !
The fleeing group of adventurers are smuggled out of Edinburgh heading toward New Briar to assist a brother temple of Dionysus in need. It was a six day journey by wagon travel with a group merchants who owe favors to Ethan.
On day two of traveling through open plains south westward, as camp was being settled into, one of the train of horses became unsteady as a nasty stead flowed downstream to the encampment. the merchants calmed the horses down as the party members stared off into the distance as two lightly armored humanoids approached.As the figured grew closer it was apparent that these humanoids were almost ten feet in height. Wiz decided he will lead the group to great these mammoths with two handed swords. Vraska and Wiz meet them as the lolly approached from the rear skipping along. upon entering confrontational distance the ogres entered combat Wiz got hammered early in combat as Vraska, Max and Lolly killed the ogres. Using a potion of healing purchased in Edimbur , Wiz was healed back to consciousness. six thousand silver was found, not a bad day. On day three , Wiz decides that max needs a new look, his bald head with a ponytail didn't look right on a westerner. Wiz clumps warm wax all over the bald areas of max's head and begins to place horse tail strings into the wax. Max then punches Wiz with a critical hit which drops the male Jester into unconsciousness once again, he then tosses the dying corpse in anger to the party cursing elves in general. as the body hits the floor, two giant toads leap into the camp and begin to feast on the flesh of some of the merchants. Vraska rushes into combat as Lolly secures Wiz's body under a wagon ( although she forgot to bind his wounds) They kill both of the toads but not before the toads managed to kill of four members of merchants family. To the parties dismay, Wiz bled out and was buried (with his gold/silver) along with the dead humans. On day five, the party hear loud metallic clanking noises growing closer to their encampment. Vraska and an npc went to investigate, Two metallic wagons being pulled by metallic horses drove by the party and in elvish yelled out" take him ya stinkin Elves" when a body was flung from the moving wagon. Enter the newest of player characters, collar, a dark Elvin rogue. scared by the outright site of a dark elf, the boy hurried back to encampment in fear. Vraska makes small talk as the bruised rogue explains his dilemma. The group of merchants are fearful of the dark elf and shun him from their activities. Early the next morning the party awakens to the site of the merchants fleeing in fear, but offer both the half elves a ride. the party follows the merchants for several hours entering into the hill not far from New briar but loses site of the merchants and quickly discover they are lost in unknown hilly area north of the three shiar. Looking to pick up the merchants trail before it grows cold, the dark elf stumbles upon a party of nine humans who look like they are actively searching for something.
The dark elf stealthy investigates but uses better judgement o get the party before going further on his own. approaching the opposing party cautiously, the Lolly lets her wild side loose and annoys the other party who are staring hard at the dark elf. Vraska politely asks for directions to the shiars and was given them and asked the PC's to kindly go about their business before bad things happen. Lolly begins to get crazy when she suddenly is struck into a deep sleep. Vraska scoop up Lolly as the Pcs go on their merry way for two hours before deciding that those guys were misleading them, The party treks it back three hours in the direction they came from only to discover the second party actively divining a mound of earth. The dark elf decides its sneaky time again and manages to sneak up close to their new found adversaries. IN haste the their bum rushes the wizard while enchanting but doesn't get the surprise and loses initiative. the half elf females, seven rounds away rush to the aid of their comrade. the dark elf gets dropped and the females decide they are outnumbered and don't engage the hostiles.
Nightfall arrives and Lolly reveals she is very hungry considering she doesn't have any food on her. Vraska shared rations with Lolly for the night. Halfway through day Seven, our two adventurers stumble upon a traveling merchant who sells the party food and a couple of heeling potions( I rolled for it !). While trying to get accurate directions from the kind merchant, Lolly decides to attempt to steal the remaining potions of healing left in the chest which contained hers. She was attacked by one of the merchants body guards and the anarchy starts again. Little did the party realize that a half orc assassin was trailing this merchant to kill him. by the time the merchant arrived on the scene. Vraska killed the merchant and the half elves barely escaped (Lolly was badly wounded.) the warriors taking their wages in goods from the fallen merchant claimed the wagon and rode off as the half orcs cautiously followed the party to the second shiar.
The session ended with a climatic scene indeed. as the PCs entered New Briar, they were informed that the plague of death was taken care but they were welcomed by the hospitality the acting mayor. They visited the temple of Dionysus to discover Max was there being healed and were informed in moderate detail of the plague in New Briar.. This was quickly interrupted by our knight, Atticus and his squire dragging a paralyzed cleric, Brother Thompson. One of his squires rushes forward to inform him that most of his caravan is being summoned back to Innistrad. The acting mayor summoned the party together and was threatened by the assassin to tell all of whats going on. Forced by the halfling cleric into submission (hold spell) Atticus explains the current findings in Willic's Hall and mansion and pleaded for their help as the mayor offers each surviving member 100 gold as reward. The new party agrees a good night sleep is needed for all and it will be back to BrambleToe estate for further investigation in our next session...

Fun times in Dallas Texas, they are gonna have a ball with the next session, as you can see I have worked this into my campaign setting, as any good CK would and made modifications to do so.

Vraska politely asks for directions to the shiars and was given them and asked the PC's to kindly go about their business before bad things happen. Lolly begins to get crazy when she suddenly is struck into a deep sleep. Vraska scoop up Lolly as the Pcs go on their merry way for two hours before deciding that those guys were misleading them, The party treks it back three hours in the direction they came from only to discover the second party actively divining a mound of earth. The dark elf decides its sneaky time again and manages to sneak up close to their new found adversaries. IN haste the their bum rushes the wizard while enchanting but doesn't get the surprise and loses initiative. the half elf females, seven rounds away rush to the aid of their comrade. the dark elf gets dropped and the females decide they are outnumbered and don't engage the hostiles.
Nightfall arrives and Lolly reveals she is very hungry considering she doesn't have any food on her. Vraska shared rations with Lolly for the night. Halfway through day Seven, our two adventurers stumble upon a traveling merchant who sells the party food and a couple of heeling potions( I rolled for it !). While trying to get accurate directions from the kind merchant, Lolly decides to attempt to steal the remaining potions of healing left in the chest which contained hers. She was attacked by one of the merchants body guards and the anarchy starts again. Little did the party realize that a half orc assassin was trailing this merchant to kill him. by the time the merchant arrived on the scene. Vraska killed the merchant and the half elves barely escaped (Lolly was badly wounded.) the warriors taking their wages in goods from the fallen merchant claimed the wagon and rode off as the half orcs cautiously followed the party to the second shiar.
The session ended with a climatic scene indeed. as the PCs entered New Briar, they were informed that the plague of death was taken care but they were welcomed by the hospitality the acting mayor. They visited the temple of Dionysus to discover Max was there being healed and were informed in moderate detail of the plague in New Briar.. This was quickly interrupted by our knight, Atticus and his squire dragging a paralyzed cleric, Brother Thompson. One of his squires rushes forward to inform him that most of his caravan is being summoned back to Innistrad. The acting mayor summoned the party together and was threatened by the assassin to tell all of whats going on. Forced by the halfling cleric into submission (hold spell) Atticus explains the current findings in Willic's Hall and mansion and pleaded for their help as the mayor offers each surviving member 100 gold as reward. The new party agrees a good night sleep is needed for all and it will be back to BrambleToe estate for further investigation in our next session...

I occasionally feel your pain as it relates to people who don't get C&C. Sometimes it comes down to Pathfinder wizards (and other classes in general) being more powerful than their C&C counterparts, or the Siege Engine is too difficult to succeed at, or the game feels naked without feats and a lot of D20 crunch. That said, I've had more hits than misses with my demos. I look forward to reading about your future sessions. Shadows of HH is a good adventure, and it'll be interesting to see your take on it.

Sounds like you're having a blast... Though I can't understand the whole "C&C isn't rulesy enough" attitude. Don't people realize that when you have things like feats you're actually limiting your character? <shrug>
I do hope you're upgrading the critters a bit in the catacombs...with 4th and 5th level characters in the mix they might go through things a bit easily.

I am hopin that the knight will bring the party some stability or it could be disastrous even without adding to it. Our fighter is nasty, but the rest of the group rolls like ass and act before they think things through.
As you can see from the earlier sessions , I had changed a bit of the module to meet my campaign, as would any CK.
I will definitely keep everyone posted on this campaign. We meet up again in two weeks.

Summary of Session Five :
All players in our campaign made this session !
The night was grim with despair, our adventurers cautious of the unknown that lies within the catacombs of the the Mansion baffled our motley crew. They requested the mayor to open the general store for them to stock up on supplies. All went fourth to obtain what gear they deducted would assist them best.
Bright and early our brave souls met for an early meal and to congregate prior to strategically plan out their next move, when the unpredictable Lolly decided to go for an early morning stroll...
Four hours later Coallar found her in a barn molesting farm animals. Little did the party know Lolly was up to her old tricks as she compiled a bunch of lice and ticks from the farm animals and placed them onto Max. She spent a lot of this session blaming Max for the death of her friend and companion, Wiz.
The group finally assembled to conquer the plague in New Briar. Our group assessed all information gathered through different means to discover that mr.BrambleToe has smuggled dwarven craftsmen into New Briar for the construction of his mansion and hall. They cautiously entered into the catacombs where Vraska quickly discovered a secret door leading to another ward of the catacombs. The group pressed into c mysterious chamber with a fountain that contained a statue of a snake perched in the center with a foul liquid streaming from his mouth. The party dared not touch this stenching liquid and sent the Assassin into the room to investigate, and investigate he did, right into a pit that fell 15 feet into iron spikes which nearly ended his short career.
Our group quickly made their way across the pit and into a corridor which split into a T. The party led by our fearless knight, Atticus (who did make 2nd level) who had his magical sword shedding light. pressed southward into a chamber that spoke of Glorious tales of a king long forgotten which conquered the land of men, elves, dwarves and beasts ! An indented alcove within the finely crafted tell tale room, each containing a large mural depicting a different tale of conquest against a different race, until finally proposing to his queen and sitting on the throne as KIng ! Each mural contained an artifact directly related the event !
The party quickly realized that these artifacts were magically trapped, but their greed surpassed their wisdom. Our assassin melted two sets of thieves tools attempting to disable the traps before dropping unconscious. The party pressed on without the artifacts for now. The next room contained the remains of several dozen halfling bodies inside a perfectly crafted squared off onyx chamber. dead center on opposite walls were carved statues of great warriors. The party entered the room and was quickly attacked by a bunch of zombies, the onyx statues came to life and attacked as well. Our knight and a few other were caught off guard by the zombies(lost initiative) and injured badly. The knight had ordered the party to retreat into the hallway to bottleneck the attacking zombies and statues. Our knight held the front but was wounded badly. The zombies had pulled the knight out of the door way of the corridor he was blocking to feast on his flesh while others piled into the corridor and dropping Coallar.
This is where Vraska showed all what a real warrior can do with a sharp sword! The Hack-O-Matic went into combat dominance mode receiving 5 extra attacks quickly dispersing half of the zombie menace before the rest of the party got to attack and freed up the knight to enable him to get to his feet. Lolly learned to bind wounds after losing her friend in past escapades as Max kept all in the corridor safe. Our brave warriors conquered the zombies and the onyx living statues in a hard felt battle which took its tolls on everyone. using the last of their heeling, Atticus suggested a tactical retreat to regroup back at the Portly Partridge .

The group received healing and a proper nights rest and Atticus received a few potions of healing from Brother Justin Grayce in the House of Dionysus. Early this AM, Coallar set off ahead of the party to do some investigating of his own. He assisted many of the halflings who were emptying out the BrambleToe Hall of dead townsfolk and being transported to the graveyard. This allowed access to the halls where he could probe it for some of the unanswered questions. he didn't discover much before the rest of the party arrived. Atticus divulged much of what was uncovered in his initial discovery of the Halls to the rest of the party. revealing the blueprints that Willic had in his personal chambers. The group cautiously ventured down into the catacombs once more. They noticed many changes to the remains of each chamber as they were not as they were left. All noticing the artifacts still within the murals with their eyes of avarice !
The Onyx chamber was strictly search and once again , Vraska's keen half elven eyes discovered yet another secret passage leading into a room with two sarcophagi and three Gargoyle statues ; one above each other the sarcophagi and one alone on another wall, after careful investigation each statue rotated and moved into a different position and loud mechanical noises of moving gears followed each rotation until the floor slowly lowed into the chambers of the undead King and Queen.
Awakened and angered these lesser mummies quickly engaged the party of heroes in combat. Atticus leaped into battle landing a critical blow to the King killing him with a mighty strike of his magical sword. the Queen proved to be a lot more formidable in this combat wounding several of the party members. The final Blow was a vicious strike of Vraska's two handed sword which laid the Queen to her final resting place. ....
Our party quickly rounded up a nice portion of loot as they now had to figure out how to exit this chamber which was lowered 30 feet bellow the exit. No secret doors were found. It took a lot of thought, trial and error as well as some party members gettin wounded to figure a way our but it was a well thought out group effort. Vraska's placed the circlet found on the Queen and managed to procure several of the artifacts from the murals.

The party made their way back to temple of Dionysus where several items were determine to be magic and a few of them highly evil magic, a sword and a circlet. Brother Justine and his friend (a wizard) set off the determine the history and the nature of the magical Items. our party divided up the loot that was found. The next day Brother Justine and company approach the party news of a magical potion that heals, a magical shield that will protect it wielder, a magical sword of that had a strong evil aura about it, and the circlet which had an even stronger evil aura about it. The halfling wizard advised the party they would further investigate the nature of this necromantic circlet as it might be the reason for the undead rising. Coallar suggested takin the evil sword and smashing the circlet with it. In a hasty moment, Vraska grabbed the sword and the circlet went a bit outside the Portly Partridge and deliver a powerful strike to the circlet with the evil sword causing both to explode and destroy each other in a large explosion which injured Vraska badly (would have killed anyone else in the party.)
Mayor Grayson Bottombarrel proudly gave the party their deserved rewards as promised.. 100gp's each ! This is where the session ended.

This was a really fun session to CK. I made several changes to the module and despite the higher levels by some of the players, all characters had their wits and lives challenges one way or another during this module.
Wont be long before The Mist snatches them up at sea and the real terror in this campaign begins !
Big shout out to DMMike for an amazing module that all involved absolutely had a blast playin in.
I will update this thread with the next session, I am considering the continuation of this module with the mill and meadow grass home but switching to gnolls or a different humanoid race, might even keep the undead theme goin but thinkin about showin the PCs some variety in the campaign. Variety is always a beautiful thing .

Good resolution at the end, and while I do loves me my undead I agree that too much of one thing gets dull. I look forward to further reading their adventures!

Session six: The Madness begins :
The night grew weary as our heroes were still recovering from the crypt under the Brambletoe Mansion. Many questions still remained, Coallar was still paralyzed in his left arm Vraska still a bit stunned from the explosion caused by destroying two magical items. During this night of rest our jester Lolly, decides to test her thieving skills by robbing all in the inn. She was successful until reach Atticus’ room. Quickly she discovered that someone was awake within his chambers and grew a case of cold feet. Using better discretion with the arrival of more knights from Innistrad, she took to her bed.The next morning Lolly decides she needs a bodyguard
The next morning our group received some healing and learned that the House Tinnum of Innistrad (Atticus’ family) would be throwing a festival in hopes of raising spirits within New Briar by celebrating the heroes with a festival. Merchants began to arrive in New Briar sent by House Tinnum. This was looking to be a grand festival with a few surprises for our Heroes not yet revealed. Within one of the merchant vessels a dwarf priest arrived in New Briar. His name is Dreg, a cleric dedicated to studying the arts of Necromancy. Upon arrival of New briar he was quickly greeted and taunted by Lolly and discovered that the undead plague was rectified. He made his way past the jester who hid behind her new bodyguard and met up in the inn with Vraska, where he received a friendly welcome to New Briar.
Coallar makes his way to the mansion to discover the outcome of his expedition, only to discover New Briar is sealing up the tomb. After a few hours of conversation with Justin Grayce , he heads back to the inn to discover Lolly has drank herself into passing our He assists her into her bed but not before she pukes on herself. Another wandering adventurer appeared when she got wind of the undead plague and festivals, a wizard named Daria. She spoke with a few merchants and decided to stay for the festival. She quickly made her way to The Portly Partridge, where she befriended Vraska. A few hours later , brother Thompson arrived assisting some of the halflings preparing for a dinner honoring the heroes. Coallar inquires about the sealing of the crypt which arose curiosity in Dreg. Dreg asked for permission to explore the catacombs before being sealed up. The rest of the party decided they were going with Dreg. Two hours later Thompson arrived back at the inn to inform the party they are welcomed to continue their investigations. Coallar awakes Lolly who awake gathers up all her puke and decides to throw it at Dreg in the middle of the Inn but misses badly and makes a big mess that makes a few others begin to puke. An hours later after people clean themselves up, they decide to enter the crypt and follow a path not explored yet. The party quickly discover all traps and treasures left behind were dealt with.
Following the path to another secret door which led the party down into depths under New Briar another chamber depicting ancient images were discovered. and yet again another secret door opened. The party was attacked by a different spawning of skeletons, warriors armed with shields a swords. after Vraska made short work off them, the party discovered their entrance has been closed. They followed a descending stairwell into a the burial place of a cursed betrayer of the long forgotten king and queen. seven larger skeletons attacked. It was a brutal fight for our party with several members dropping unconscious. But though some good teamwork all survived.

Coallar awakes Lolly who awake gathers up all her puke and decides to throw it at Dreg in the middle of the Inn but misses badly and makes a big mess that makes a few others begin to puke. An hours later after people clean themselves up, they decide to enter the crypt and follow a path not explored yet. The party quickly discover all traps and treasures left behind were dealt with.
Following the path to another secret door which led the party down into depths under New Briar another chamber depicting ancient images were discovered. and yet again another secret door opened. The party was attacked by a different spawning of skeletons, warriors armed with shields a swords. after Vraska made short work off them, the party discovered their entrance has been closed. They followed a descending stairwell into a the burial place of a cursed betrayer of the long forgotten king and queen. seven larger skeletons attacked. It was a brutal fight for our party with several members dropping unconscious. But though some good teamwork all survived.

The party found a Bronze Vault with ancient writings that were revealed to our wizard. This was the burial treasure of the old rulers which believed that their treasures would be brought to the other side with them in their deaths.
Wounded and not able to open this magically locked vault, our heroes went back to the town for a nights rest, missing their own banquette. The next morning our party begins to regroup and restock as they make inquiries.Our Jester, Lolly, decides she will go visit all of the merchants to purchase thief tools, in broad daylight, in a somewhat crowded merchant encampment, that has several knights of the realm browsing the new goods. Not being discrete at all, Lolly is noticed by two of the knights as a merchant was about to check his inventory for the illegal goods. One of the knights approaches Lolly to inform her that what she is doing is considered a crime in the realm. Lolly hastily responds with a charm person spell, in broad daylight, in front of many townspeople, with none of her adventuring friends around her.
One of the guards becomes charmed but the other draws his sword as he saw the spell being casted. Lolly begins to run out of town. The knight begins to run after Lolly but falls behind so he sounds his alarm which brings the attention of four other guard in addition to the two who mounted up and began pursuit of Lolly. This arose the party in the inn . Quickly Coallar darts into action as he knows without looking Lolly is in trouble yet again.
Coallar decides to try and impede the charging knights by shooting one of the horses and takin out one of the knights in pursuit. Unfortunately for Coallar, three quires drew their crossbows on him. Coallar quickly escapes the aimed shots and dives out the inn window to safety. He stealthy escapes and changes disguise to avoid the knights looking for him. Meanwhile, Lolly is captured , She is gagged and bound with manacles. Daria heads to the temple of Dionysus to examine this powerful spell that controls the minds of other she has in her spell book.
Vraska stalls the knight and squires pursuing Coallar and attempts to diffuse this situation by reminding the knights that they are heroes, including the chaotic jester Lolly. The knights bring Lolly to the stables for sentencing as she is obviously found guilty of using magics on a knight of the realm. NO sentence would be carried out without the mayors permission. Grayson Bottombarrel finally arrived with Thompson and Jameson to oversea the knights justice. It was determine by Mayor Bottombarrel that justice’s outcome will be decided by the knights of Atticus as he and the clerics walked away to the sounds of screams. Screams coming from Lolly as one of the knights cut off her right arm from the elbow down.
This is where this session left off, the monk and the dwarf in the temple of Dionysus. Daria and Vraska bandaging up Lolly and bringing her bleeding remains to the temple for healing while Coallar caught up with the group. The cleric in charge,Rocknard Jameson , refused healing to the disgraced hero. Coallar lost his mind, trashes the main chamber and grabs his stuff before fleeing while knights arrived. After the mayor, Thompson and the knights arrive to discover the desecration of the temple the heroes are banned from the Shiars. Lolly and Coallar are branded outlaws in the knights provinces. The party is told they will be escorted out of the Shires and their equipment sent ahead to a neighboring village where they can pick it up.

The party never got to the festival which would have granted them titles in the lower part of the realm they were in Also some were to be presented magic gift by New Briar and the Temple of Dionysus'
We had two newer players in this session who loved the ease of Castles and Crusades.

Wow...what a ending? I know the jester was a gnome...but geez! Did she have a death wish? Reminds me of our thief last Sat. who started doing the "MJ "Thriller" routine while we were attacked by skeletons. :p

Session Seven:
We pick up this session with our knight Atticus coming back from his “ Coming of Age” ceremony with several of his knight formally inducting him as brother in his knighthood as he strives to earn to the coveted title of “Sir” in a knighting ceremony at some point in time. Upon returning to New Briar, Atticus was informed of the madness which transpired in his absence. After speaking with Mayor Grayson Bottombarrel, Brother Jameson and brother Thompson, most of the party was cleared of associated guilt from Coallar and Lolly. Lolly was placed under supervision of Atticus until banishment was to take place. Lolly remained unconscious for most of the time spent in New Briar.
As things were settling down finally for the party of adventurers, Coallar made a bad attempt to assassinate Mayor Grayson Bottombarrel who was leaving the temple of Dionysus. Knight pursued Coallar til he was cornered, where he was given the option to surrender. Coallar faked surrendering and attacked a squire. None of the party came to Coallar’s aid and Coallar was killed in combat with two knights and three squires.
The festival went on as scheduled for the people of New Briar and not a celebration of heroes. The moons aligned yet again and another jester sprung from nowhere to perform in the festivities, Jingles. An elvin jester who knew of Lolly and comforted her to consciousness. It was agreed that Lolly was to leave after the festival. Jingles befriended a merchant who sold him some questionable items in private. Later that evening , the same merchant hired the rest of the adventurers to be his armed escort to the small city of Edinburgh.
Our party united and traveled with the merchant for days without drama or encounters. Until… The small group was stopped by the dreaded Oakland Raiders ! A vicious band of orcs who ravage the continent and extort merchants for safe passage. Our group fought valiantly and overcame the largely outnumbered forces of orcs. The spoils from the Oakland Raiders proved to be plentiful as the group arrived in Edinburgh. With new found money, most of the group went on a spending spree, re-supplying and purchasing steeds, armors, weapons and wagons.
