I don't have any previous experience with Bluffside as a setting. But if you would like a review from that perspective (does the adventure stand on its own for new customers) I would be happy to help. I won't have a chance to run it any time soon, but I could certainly read it and write a review this week. I have written a few reviews on RPGNow, but not a ton.

If you are interested in The Iron Tavern posting a review on it, I would be happy to give it a read through and get something posted.

Hey Hal,

All done going through interludes. Thanks for the opportunity to take a look. I'm Ready to write a review (will also post it on my blog: Huntersquarry.com) but wanted to clarify a few things.

1. Am I reading this right, that in a module entitled "Brief Expedition to Bluffside", the players never actually make an expedition to Bluffside? Or is the villiage of Kirkwood and the nearby Grove where the adventure takes place considered "part" of Bluffside? I just want to be clear in the review and not being familiar with the setting, I wasn't sure what actually constitutes Bluffside.
2. There seem to be some ommissions. I'm not sure if I got an incomplete PDF. In the adventure, there are references to APPENDIX 4: New Creatures Appendix 6: Prestige Classes. Neither Appendix was present in the PDF I downloaded. This also means that there are no actual stats for monsters like Rakers or Rippers. There is also a reference to APPENDIX 1: New Stuff (about the Raker poison) however that APPENDIX does not exist in my copy. (I want to know about the Poison!) :)
3. Multiple references are made to the Bluffside campaign setting source book. Is that currently available?

Yes it is near Bluffside and is considered right outside

Looking onto that now

It will be available through TLG this summer!

Wow, that's a completely different PDF. It looks MUCH better and I'm SO glad to see that large regional map show up. I really missed it in the previous copy. I should be able to get a review up this weekend.

Review posted on RPGNow and my blog http://www.huntersquarry.com.

Also, just want to make sure this is accurate, "It was written by Jeff quinn, converted by Peter J. Schroeder and published by Samurai Sheepdog."

Thanks for the opportunity.
