The Kraken in this KS is HUMONGOUS!!

My only gripe is that is plastic, but at this size, I guess it has to be. $65 unpainted, $75 painted, and the KS exclusive paint job is much cooler than the purple version.

Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

If it looked more like Cthulhu, I'd consider it. Otherwise they lost me with the all round bases... square (or hex) is much more ideal.

It's a nice miniature. Though I'm not sure "mini" can be used for something that size. It'd be nice to have, but I wonder how much actual use it would be? "Oh no, not the Kraken....again."

Yeah, that can be a problem. I've only used the Gargantuan Red Dragon once in what? 4 years? I have yet to use Orcus, and won't any time soon.

yeah, I can see a DM who drops 60 bucks wanting to get some use out of it.
Oddly, I like the add on tentacle figure. can you imagine a herd of those slithering towards your party? crrepy.
