The Trolls Personal Game
The Trolls Personal Game
Not to often do we Trolls talk about our game, the one we play weekly at Steve's house. We drop any pretense of professionalism and just revert back to being goofy kids playing a game where we can pretend to be Elves. But I wanted to relay a bit of our game this week.
Four of us were there, aside from Steve, our CK. The party, consisting of a wizard, a cleric, a ranger / druid and a paladin, were lured by an undead up a hillock to an ambush. Now, we sniffed out pretty early that the "guy" was something other than what he appeared. My paladin detected his evil, but we played along because, hey, its what we do. Unbeknownst to us, however, a dragon lived in the area. Long story short, two of the four of us died. Our wizard went to -10 due to dragon's breath and our ranger / druid went to... well, by a rough estimate, about -1936. Yes, negative one-thousand, nine-hundred and thirty-six. We all agreed that this was a record.

Ah yes! Nothing like a hard hitting, dangerous game. As they should be. Great reward, great danger.AGNKim wrote: Long story short, two of the four of us died. So, are ya sayin' that dragon's breath is somewhat harmful?
FUCKING HILARIOUS!!
[I'm not one to use the F word, but - it's seems entirely appropriate and on topic!!]

I am not like that ALL the time because my fellow players would kill me for it, but I am like that often. It's usually more fun when you poke the big obvious killer thing with a stick, otherwise the game might as well be about doing laundry or getting groceries.AGNKim wrote:My paladin detected his evil, but we played along because, hey, its what we do.

Doing laundry is VERY dangerous! Mimics, Cloakers, Molds, mildews and Gelatinous Cubes like to hang out there!Aergraith wrote:I am not like that ALL the time because my fellow players would kill me for it, but I am like that often. Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I heard that the Trolls are adding Yellow Mildew to the next printing of M&T.

I understand that Airdhe is going to have a new lake called, The Lake of Dr. Pepper, where the deliciousness entices anyone to swim as far as they can to reach even more deliciousness and eventually drown, upon a missed wisdom save.

Re: The Trolls Personal Game
Playing tonight, our party had descended into some deep tunnels in old Dwarven ruins. We caught glimpses of some orcs, but they always outran us in the twisting tunnels and we never caught them. Approaching a large cavern, we see what appears to be a body. As we get closer, we realize that it is only the lower half of a body, the upper torso having been violently ripped off, leaving only legs, a few inches above the waist and a pile of guts. Someone asks Steve if it is human or one of the orcs we had been seeing. Steve said, "It appears to have been an orc," to which I reply, "Now it's a half-orc."

I think I've heard this before. lol. What we all really want to know...Is it true that Dr. Pepper flows from a fountain in the courtyard, and that all of the toilets in Troll Manor are made of gold??
