Good Demo Adventures

Post by Torbern »

I plan on running a couple of demo adventures at Nuke-Con in October. I have one that I have ran before using both C&C and D&D 3.0, and it fits in a four-hour time frame.

Could anyone recommend other adventures that could (a) be used as a demo adventure and (b) fit in a four-hour time frame? I was looking at A0 Rising Knight, and it appears if could work with a little modification (ex. maybe start the characters at THE TEMPLE OF BALEON NAKT and give them a backstory).

Giants Rapture...hands down! Get it. It has three parts and each one runs in 4 hours. I know, I ran them at GenCon.

Rising knight is good, but will have to be shortened. Others include, They call Him Guff, Cloud Giant's Tower, Wizard's Tower (all pdf only), the three individual adventures contained in Dwarven Glory (print and pdf). Those are a few that come to mind.

I see a lot of short adventures on DriveThruRPG. The Tower and Dwarf series seem short, but maybe a touch too short as they are. I will look into them (especially since they are very inexpensive).
