Optional Armor rules

Post by dbush1809 »

I'm looking to start a new C&C campaign and am seriously considering giving the optional armor rules from the CKG a try. Has anyone used them? And if so, what are your thoughts?

Thanks,

No, I'm talking about the damage reduction optional armor rules that are listed on pages 258/259.

I've used similar rules in the past. Meh, didn't add anything to the game that was worth the effort.

I use very little out of the CKG. Just the combat maneuvers, and the high level class progressions. Another group I play in uses the Advantages and one of the Luck point systems in addition to what I use.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.
