Boise state is without a doubt the best coached team in the country. They pulled off 3 miraculous plays flawlessly to win. They have my vote for national champions. The BCS blows.

Oh my god, I read "Bose state", which is a particular state in which matter may exist (the Bose-Einstein "plasma").

Great. Rip my heart out again by reminding me about the game.

I was born in Norman, where my parents were both in graduate school, so I am a Sooner fan until I die. Boise State nearly did me in with their miracle comebacks. However, I am man enough to tip my hat to them -- they certainly came through when it counted.

I think this is the BCS' worst nightmare: an undefeated team who is NOT playing in the Championship game.

Heh, I was actually pulling for Oklahoma. Bama and OU seem to have a lot of respect for each other. But I had to jump on the Boise bandwagon toward the end of that game.

The BCS is a complete and utter crock.

They ruined all the bowl games. I am a westerner, and it seems completely stupid to have a Rose Bowl without a Pac-10 team (which has almost happened twice in a row). Or a Big 10 team, which happened last year. Same for the other bowls- no southerners in the Sugar Bowl? No Texans in the Cotton Bowl? What the he!! is a Chick-Fil-A Bowl? Meineke Car Care Bowl? Come on.

Which gets me back to my original agreement with others of you. If we're going to ruin 100+ years of history in many of these bowls, and sacrifice tradition on the altar of television ratings and an obsessive-compulsive need to have a "national champion", it would be nice if the system actually generated one.

Finally, as for Boise State, I'd like to see them go undefeated in the Pac-10. Not gonna happen.

1st. It was a great game... well it had a great finish. I don't watch many bowl games or college games since the BS...er BCS started and coincidentally ruined it. Playoffs baby, Thats what they need.

That said (and not to disparage any of the Okie fans, it wasn't their fault) but the Oklahoma QB played a horrible game IMHO, he threw at least 3 interceptions (technically 4) but they didn't count the one that bounced off the other guys legs and NEVER TOUCHED THE GROUND!

If Oklahoma fans have anything to feel bad about it was the crapola performance of their starting QB. Boise did rock tho. They looked really sharp, well coached and professional throughout the game.

Sorry Case, not gonna happen until JoePa, who has been clamoring for a D 1A playoff for 30+ years, is dead and buried. So we have another 20-30 years to wait.

A few days late, but I must say the OU Boise St. game was one of the best football games I have ever watched at any level!

Yup. And all those USC teams over the past few years would be like 6-6 in the SEC. A playoff is the only way to go, but sadly, money trumps fairness.

I just caught the end of this game and even that was enough to make me say wow!

I agree the BCS is a joke and the only way to have a real national champion is some type of playoff.
