"The major risk in this Kickstarter project is juggling it with our existing one, Castles & Crusades Haunted Highlands. Having two Kickstarters is difficult, however because the Haunted Highlands begins shipping in the next couple of weeks and Codex Nordica is complete we think we can manage it without too many problems."
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Tim, thanks for the info.

The $30 pledge seems off. I want the book but don't wish to pay an additional $10 for a PDF. I don't use them. Perhaps, you can offer some alternative pledge or just a $20 for the book.

Thanks,

Rhu. :D

Nice to see we are already so close to the second stretch goal.

Yep. I think we see the real problem here, they've forgotten Aihrde is even still an outstanding KS project.

Trust me when I say I haven't forgotten about it. Not a day passes that I don't worry over that project. Progress is being made, now the main book is largely in the hands of the editors (I still have travel sections to add to each country). Art is coming in.

For all the facebook and google users we put this offer out there:

"Help us spread the word and get a FREE PDF to boot! All you have to do is swap out your facebook cover photo with the one we've posted here on the C&C page. Do it for the duration of the Kickstarter campaign (http://kck.st/1ff7dSJ) and and you can pick an adventure of your choice over at RPGnow or Drivethru! Contact us here and we'll get you hooked up!"

Hit us up on the C&C Society google page or the C&C facebook page.

Thanks,
Steve

Tree,

I don't know if you, or anyone else, will know or not, but is the Haunted Highlands going to be available as a PDF on DriveThru? I am assuming it will be.

I am pretty sure they have put everything else up there, so imagine HH will be too.

Every time Tim puts up a new sale, I share it with the gamer communities I am part of on Facebook and G+, which have over 20,000 members, I just have no idea how much over lap there is between community memberships. Tim is even supposed to tag me when he puts up the new sales, but he has forgotten to do so, so far. I did the same with the Kickstarter last night, once it was officially started.

I never really believed you forgot about it. And, I understand why you wouldn't want to mention it in this Kickstarter.

I only mentioned it because this is the one I've been waiting for, more so than HH. I gave away my d20 book in anticipation of this one.

I've waited a long time, I'm in no rush, but it better be kick-ass! :D

Yeah, mentioning you have a very, very over due Kickstarter to still get out isn't a good idea when your doing another KS.

Edit: and I say that knowing your working hard on it, Steve. I am not upset about it, and have liked what you have shared, and last I heard, your splitting this into two books, etc... its just what I said, mentioning you are very, very past due on a previous KS when launching a new one is stupid.

I found the one with Tainted Lands, and its indeed linked to me, but G+ never sent me a notification of being tagged. It may be because your tagging me within the "community", and I have notifications from all communities turned off.

If you did them while within the community, give it a try outside of any community.

This is what I am posting about the current Kickstarter

Like the Norse mythology? Want an RPG source book with spells, magic items and creatures based on the lore? Want RPG lore based on the lore? With an author who even has a degree in this stuff? Then you want to support this Kickstarter, like I have...
This is an "OSR" oriented game, so if you have to have feats, powers, and lists of skills, this is not for you.

WTH?!? Nothing. I got nothing. I had to find the monster book deal myself. I wonder what changed? I used to at least tag you, so why would you not be able to tag me? Very frickin strange. I did see that you tagged me too, but I was never given a notification.

OK folks, I'm new to this, it happened, they reached their goals and are onto stretches.. let's cut to the chase, when (realistically) will we see the books?

Just wait until you see the Codex Nordica's exclusive adventure module I am devising...I think it will be earth-shaking and make the Wyrd even shudder about Mimir's Well under Yggdrasil. Lofty plans are afoot, lofty I say, so grab your Bearded-Witch by its ashen haft, and leap into the dragon-prowed Orm at the word of your Drottir and ride the Whale's Back...

I didn't asked to be told to wait, I'm asking how long until we see something... do I need to buy a 2015 calendar to mark down so I don't forget to watch my mail? Seriously, what is a realistic ETA on this stuff?

@Captain_K, Codex Nordica finishes the Kickstarter in 17 days. After that the book will go to final layout, then to press for Hardcover; this takes approximately 4 weeks. I would expect delivery of print book to commence right after that. I would expect delivery of PDFs, if that is in a level you chose, to come much sooner than that. Hope this helps, Tim

And @celticgamer, I can't wait to see the new adventure, as long as the host of other books you are working on. Did Steve talk to you about answering a few questions for an interviewer that contacted us?

Good luck Celticgamer finishing that module, I eagerly await that too. Good luck keeping all those brands in the fire and don't let the slings and arrows of grumps like me slow you down ;}

@Tim, Nope, the Head Troll never did contact me about those interviewer questions, I had no idea until I read the interview he did, assuming it was the DieHard GameFAN one? The adventure module will be worked on very soon, after I get the finishing touches done on the extra content completed for the Codex...it is divine too. Hahaha!

@Captain_K, I am flying along fine. My own delays are from life itself at times, and there have been many lately, but in those moments I spent time devising more ideas to perfect. The module will be the beginning of great things ahead and start a long journey within the Nine Worlds in a humble and modest, though slightly gory manner, worthy of the old sagas. We seem to be breaking the stretch goals and only have two to go, then it is time to go a-Viking!
