Long time, no see

Hi everyone,

Some of you may remember me; some not. It has been a while in the wilderness, so to speak, but I'm happy to see my account still here. :) I've been playing some C&C here and there, but my motivation was very low for a while. However, our group just went from 3 casual to 10 serious players, so I'm starting to get my groove back, so to speak.

I am so far behind.

I hope to check in every now and then, maybe do some thread necromancy for giggles. Hopefully get to meet some of the new regulars here. :)

Welcome back. I just recently came back after a long absence as well. Real life cut into the gaming a lot, but now I am back running C&C.

Welcome back Fif,

Keep your Uruk-hai avatar. It is great. And when someone who has or is posting a lot changes their avatar I find it jarring for some reason. Case in point, Relaxo!

I guess I just see the name and associate the avatar visually in memory. So weird to see a new avatar. Like when Dr. Who changes actors. It's still Dr. Who, but it's not, know what I mean?

Hey...I shouldn't be that far behind you in the irritation department. Apparently I'm so annoying that I'm on some ignore lists in the forums. I find it funny. :D

@dachda: speaking of Doctor Who, did you watch the newly recovered second Doctor serial "The Enemy of the World"?

I haven't. Is it on netflix or amazon prime? I dont' have BBC America and haven't seen the second half of season 7 and the Christmas and aniversary specials with Matt Smith either. Takes forever for that show to hit DVD.

It's available for purchase on iTunes. However, if all you're interested in is watching it, you can find it on Dailymotion.

Pretty cool watching something that hasn't been seen in 45 years.

Welcome back, Fiff! I missed your posting here, as I enjoyed the posts and your work in The Crusader.

I also don't get "in here" or "over here" as often, but now that our group gamed this past Saturday, I am hoping I will visit more often so as to keep the fires of imagination stoked.
