CKG in 2007?

Post by Metathiax »

Is there any hope or is it expected to be released in 2008+?

It is set to be released at the same time as 4E D&D.

There is a thread posted yesterday in this forum telling us to check out the TLG website updates, especially "On the Anvil". If you go look I think you will be very pleased with that you see.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Hopefully the CKG will add lots more rules to the game. My C&C sessions have degenerated into nothing but adventuring and role-playing. We hardly argue about rule interpretations at all anymore!

Having read the info about the CKG, I must say it sounds like something I would want. And if it takes a few years - no problem. I'm in no hurry.

I'm actually interested in Crusader 7 and the beginning of the Trolls comic. More so than I am the CKG at this point.

Screen shouold be out next week. We are going to work very, very hard to have the CKG out by August, at Gencon, along with the first box set for the Castle Zagyg material.....the Upper Works, castle and first portion of the Dungeon.

hahah This is going to be a gigantic Gencon for us. In direct opposition to last year's con we have already purchased a four booth pennisula. Gary Gygax will be there, along with Alex and his wife of course. Peter Bradley will be in our booth. Davis will return and we are right now planning on releasing

CKG

Castle Zagyg Upper Works

Aihrde White Box Set collectors item

Inzae Red Box Set collectors item

Crusader issue xx (whatever that might be)

and if humanly possible

King of England King of France

But we'll see. There is many a slip between a cup and a lip and these are ambitious plans for we sad sack trolls!

Steve... this almost brings a tear (of joy) to my eye.

You mention the two world campaign sets as collector items... are there going to be books or regular box sets afterwards? Or should I be sure the grab them when I can?

Very good to hear. This is one I've been itching to get. Was this going to be the "thick" sort of screen?

Sounds like one exciting GenCon! The only thing to make it better would be for it to be in Milwaukee.

www.gencon.com Just look up the Indianapolis one.

The Days Inn is one of the most inexpensive hotels at the event, and its about 5 blocks away. Get a hotel fast!

Argh, can I impose on someone that is going to pick up material for me and post it? For some compensation and I'll pay postage???

I'm soooo not even joking.

Maybe the Trolls can do a Canuck Special... Sort of a pre-order on GenCon 07 releases to be shipped out on the week that GenCon opens up (cause you know that no one in Canada will be getting those packages many days after GenCon wraps up.

Hopeful... I know... but sometimes you just have to try and implant these ideas!

If I make it, and you let me ship it to you from the Con using that mailing station they have in the lobby, I'll get your stuff for you. The shipping will be a heck of a lot cheaper than actually going to the Con, thats for sure.

The last Con, between hotel, two round trip airline tickets, food, and Con purchases cost me over $1800.00 US. Less than $800.00 was for the tickets and hotel room. You know what? IT was worth it and I am going to do my best to be there again this year.

I drove to Indy and it was still expensive. BUT, if you can make it, and fellow Crusaders can get together, the trip will be worth it. Plus, there is just soooo much to do at the show.

We should all get together and go drinking. I'm serious.
