My version of the Trolls dice.

Post by Gribble »

Luv the old Zocchi dice the Trolls sell, unfortunately I don't think you cant get em in the white w/green "ink" combo. So, here's my version after the run through with the Staonal crayon.

Those dice look pretty sharp! I think I wouldn't mind a set just like that! Nice job!

Nice. I see the D4 has the points flatened! Does it roll better? 8)

Don't know if it rolls "better", but from what Zocchi says the rolls are more consistent. Also, the weight of the dice are much lighter and they don't seem to want to bounce off the table as often.

Here's a good link that describes Gamescience dice:

If I make GenCon again this year (I am going to be there unless crap happens) I think after spending money at the Trolls booth I am going to seriously hit the dice tables. I only bought a few last time, but I think I am becoming more aware of the "fun" with dice.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

Yeah the white and green really go good together. I really got the itch to do these after seeing the pic of the ones the Trolls have in the products section.

Very nice. Personally, I wanna see some gold-colored marbolized dice with green letters. Where are all the makers of gold marbolized dice! I've been looking for them since my wife's d20 disappeared at Gen Con years back.

Marblized is play'd out. That stuff is long gone. At least, I havn't seen very many in the past few years or so. Look hard enough at the dice dealers at cons, and they'll be flaoting about. I seem to recall a marblized with black numbers last year. So maybe.
