Yep. Good buys! Which is why I bought them long ago.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

I'm still working up the nerve to give FATE a try ...

It is a very different way of playing compared to D&D, thats for sure.kreider204 wrote:I'm still working up the nerve to give FATE a try ...

I'm definitely interested, but I'm not sure how my players would take to it. I think one would love it, one would be ambivalent, and one would hate it ...Treebore wrote:It is a very different way of playing compared to D&D, thats for sure.kreider204 wrote:I'm still working up the nerve to give FATE a try ...

Re: cheap FATE pdfs
My players sort of liked it early on, but seemed less interested as time went on. Something about having to tag aspects all the time just started to grate on the group, so we went back to some other RPGs that were more traditional.

Yeah, I don't like running long term FATE games. About 8 sessions seems ideal for me, then I am ready to move on or back to other RPG's.
