Any organized C&C at Origins or GenCon?
Greetings.
After about eight years away I am planning on attending Origins & GenCon this year. Does Castles & Crusades get played there? Any organized tournaments or pickup games?
Thanks.

I know it does at Gen Con, since the Trolls themselves are there. I don't know how much gets played at Origins.
Since its 20,000 I suggest "Captain Nemo" as his title. Beyond the obvious connection, he is one who sails on his own terms and ignores those he doesn't agree with...confident in his journey and goals.

There were two games at Origins last year, plus one pick-up game. There were all that I was aware of. At GenCon, there were probably about 8-10 events, plus at least two off-grid games. We're hoping there are more this year at GenCon.

It's crazy that there are more C&C events at Gary Con than at Gen Con. Lake Geneva FTW.

C&C is well represented at GaryCon. That was nice to see this year.

How big is Garycon? I live in NZ and myself and she who must be obeyed are talking about a foreign holiday to Rarotonga but I have always wanted to to to Gencon for the last 20 years. Its just a long way from New Zealand.

I will attending Origins this year as well and would be very interested in sitting in on a game. Hopefully something can get cobbled together.

I am currently the C&C game master in town so it would be fun to play some C&C at a convention. Especially in an organized tournament. Back when I was a regular attendee of Origins and GenCon they used to send out pre-registration books with event lists. I guess it is probably all online now.Omote wrote:There were two games at Origins last year, plus one pick-up game. There were all that I was aware of. It is, at least for Gen Con, and pretty much any other convention I attend, so likely for Origins too.Warunsun wrote: Back when I was a regular attendee of Origins and GenCon they used to send out pre-registration books with event lists. I guess it is probably all online now.
